| The Plot Today, in the modern world, people always seem to predict what will happen tomorrow, the next week, next month or even next year! The forecast, the release of that great new book or movie, and not to mention when winter will be arriving, leaving the fall breezes in the dust. We think we know what's real and what's not, who's lying and who speaks the truth. But no one predicted what happened next. Six unlucky fates are altered like never before. When a massive earthquake hits Chicago, Illinois, skyscrapers start to collide and are destroyed and the earth cracks open, revealing it's deepest, darkest secrets from within its core. No human or living being is in sight when the rumbling ends, except for the strange, demon looking creatures that seemed to have just appeared. Their large, glowing green eyes and invisible bodies seem to have a strange thing about them- not to mention the tangle of wires and cords inside of the things. They're voices are mechanical and rusty, not to mention their screeching wail that would crack a normal humans skull open. Chicago looks as if no one had ever been inhabited there. One wrong move and the creatures seem to leap to life, obviously not there to make peace with the six remaining teenagers. How could this be real? They don't know, except for that they need to get out of there, and fast. Only soon do they realize what's going on. They are gods and goddesses in human form, their memories striped clean but their powers remaining - they always knew they were a little different from normal mundanes, being able to do and see things they shouldn't be able to. Only then do their full powers appear. They are told their main purpose - to kill each other. They are pawns of a serious game of the higher up gods to show who will be the master of all, and it's getting ugly fast. The pantheons forming sides - the losers destroyed forever and the winners taking all their power. The only problem is, they forgot something that will change everything. The gods and goddesses are now in human form and have been for many years. They have emotions they can't control anymore- and don't want to fight but to get home and away from this fate they never wanted and never expected. They escape the wrecked city, but hate each other's guts. The only reason they stay together is because they need each other to survive and no one wants to be alone in an empty planet with enraged gods and goddesses with unlimited powers out to kill you. They try to find their way to safety and not get killed by the gods or themselves. If they don't think of something fast, they will have to pick a side and fight- or leave their human state forever.
Rules -All RPC rules apply. - - I can't really say no Mary-sues since they are gods/goddesses... Just don't go overboard in perfectness, okay? - - This is literate. That means at least two paragraphs a post, or one big one. I understand writers block or simply being unable to work with what you were given. - - Grammar and spelling. I understand mistakes, but always spell check. - - Forms need to bee good, detailed, and descriptive. - - It's nice if you give your character a posting color, for example, my character's color will be light blue. So don't use light blue, because I will be posting in it. - - Do not leave anyone behind. I absolutely hate this, so I will make a posting order to prevent this from happening. - - Stay in character with your god or goddess. i.e If you are Ares you character would be Hostile, sly and love a good fight. - - Bex, Jay and Branch are the only one’s who got to reserve. They know why. Don’t think I’m being unfair, okay? If you really want to know PM me. - - PLEASE PM FORMS! I'd like to save the space for the roleplay! - - Have a good time. :3-

| Submitted Forms
- Vixen - Full name: Toree Jane Briggs
Gender: Female
God or Goddess: Artemis
Human description: Toree Jane is actually pretty short for her age. She never really seems to grow, and stands only at five feet one inch at an age of sixteen. Her hair, on the other hand, is much longer. It's like a sleek, whitish blonde curtain that stops at about the middle of her back. She likes to wear it in braids or a ponytail, and maybe even pigtails. Her bangs fall around the edges of her lean, sharp face, standing out against her light tan. Her eyes are deep, clover green, contrasting against her pale hair. Toree's nose is small and delicate, and sunglasses sometimes even fall of it. Her ears are pierced, but she hardly ever bothers wears earrings, simply because they get in the way of everything. If she does wear earrings, they'll usually be stubs or something simple like that. She rarely smiles, so her mouth always seems to be in a thin, curt line. Toree Brigg is thin and atheltic, beating nearly every record her school has for sports. Her legs are slightly longer than normal, but you can hardly tell, since her height always gets in the way of being able to notice. Her skin is slightly tanned, especially her arms, legs and face. She never really 'developed' , and doesn't really care either. Her arms and legs are well muscled compared to other girls. Her nails are ragged and short, because she bites them so much out of habit. Toree's outfit on a daily basis is never really complicated. She likes light, thin t-shirts, usually longer than her waist. She hardly wears long sleeves, and if she does, it's usually her favorite blue and black checkered sweatshirt. She wears J-leggings, which are leggings that have the patern exactly like jeans. She doesn't like shorts, which is strange, but has to wear them to practices so she doesn't get to hot. Her shoes are absolutely always her favorite white tennis shoes that have multi-colored rainbow laces. Little black swirls flow on the edges of them, adding a good final touch. She likes to wear those thick rubber braclets that usually have something carved in them on her wrist. She also has a special necklace with a silver bow and arrow on it, which she never ever takes off.
Personality: Toree isusually a quick and clever girl. She is agile and lilthe, and she can be so quiet you can't hear her come up behind you. She rarely ever talks, unless making a smart remark or pointing something out. She loves to hunt, and has her own bow at home, plus a dagger in case of an emergency. She can outwit any target easily, and hardly ever loses in any fight she's picked or gotten herself into. Toree's expression is extremely hard to read, making her some sort of impossible mystery. Even behind this unreadable mask, Toree Jane is actually fairly nice, and tries to keep things as fair as possible. But don't get me wrong, the girl can trick someone in one simple movement, so to say. Her temper can get pretty short, and you don't want her mad at you. She won't hesitate to hurt or even kill you if she feels harmed, unsafe or threatened. She doesn't trust very many people, and you're lucky if she seems to trust you. Toree is good at making herself seem like someone else, personality or disguise. Toree refuses to love anyone. Like I said, she doesn't true a soul, and therefore, has never loved anyone, and plans to stay that way. She doesn't like working in teams with men, finding them slightly disgusting.
Sacred sign: A female bear or silver bow and arrow.
Other: No.
- Merryier - Full name: Claire Kelsey Ryans
Gender: Female
God or Goddess: Nemesis (Nemy for short)
Human description: She has curly aburn hair, with a lightly freckled nose. Her eyes are a bright sparkling green that always seem to be seeing straight through any lie, or deception. Her body is lithe and strong, as if built for both strentgh and speed. However, at the same time, she never strikes someone as a girl who can knock ou on the floor in a minute flat with two or three well placed kicks. Her arms and legs are both well musceled, and even, as she is the goddess of balance and revenge. Her face is lightly heart shaped, but a bit more circular. Her hair always falls in neat ringlets down to her mid back, and looks neat and sharp even when it isn't cared for.
Personality: Claire/Nemesis has a strong temper, and can be very moody. Her main thing is, what goes around comes around, so for example, if someone punched her in the arm, she'd punch them back unhesitatingly. She believes firmly in balancing things out, and making sure eeveryone gets what they dish out. Claire/Nemesis can be very mean and cruel sometimes, but it's probably because you deserved it, or at least, she felt you did. Never get in her way when she is angry, or mad, as she will probably end up hitting someone or something.
Sacred sign: The balances
Other: nope, don't think so...
- Rebecca - Full name - Willow Asteria Underwood
Gender - Female
God or Goddess - Hecate.
Human description - Willow is much like the tree in stature. She is taller than most sixteen year old's standing around 5'9, close to 6'0 altogether, but she makes up for that by being very clumsy. Her legs are long and lean like the rest of her body and she has sinewy muscles running through her, like a swimmer or a runner. Her skin is pale and white, a stark contrast to her dark brown, almost black hair. Her eyes are a bright jade green, cutting through the night and letting her see through most darkness. Willow wears jeans most of the time, not liking to wear skirts or dresses casually, but she will sometimes if the notion strikes her. You'll always find her looking in some obscure book and reading through anything she can get her hands on, so it doesn't come as a surprise that she keeps a black knapsack with her most-to all the time. She will usually wear boots that go up to her knees overtop of her jeans, or her black converse that do the same. The converse are different than most though, as they glow in the dark.
Personality - Like her goddess form, Willow is very smart, but she isn't known for her wisdom. She's known for how nice she is to people, friends or strangers, Willow doesn't loose her temper often, but if she does, it can get pretty scary. She has a way with directions and can pretty much find her way anywhere and help people, even if she hasn't been to the place they are looking for herself. Willow tends to stay by herself more than often but will sometimes sit in the company of another. She also likes dogs and other animals, and sitting in the middle of the night, reading books by the moonlight, that always seems to brighten when she's around. Willow also has a knack for being able to know when something is about to happen, from as small as spilling your cup of coffee on your shirt, to as large as an on-coming threat, Willow has the ability to sense it almost. When she's sensing something, the girl tends to clam up and not talk much, not like she talks much at all to begin with.
Sacred sign - Willow Tree, Mask, or the number three. Other - N/A
- Branch - Full name: Cyrena Janthina Argyris (will only answer to C.J)
Gender: Female
God or Goddess: Athena
Human description: C.J is roughly 4'9", very short for her age, and in general. Her features are petite, causing her to appear weak and fragile, but this is definitely not the case. Although her limbs are slender and almost abnormally long, she's actually muscular (for a girl her age). Her wavy hair is a lighter auburn color with a mixture of darker and lighter colored highlights. Normally, her hair is pulled back into a braid that ends halfway down her back. Her skin is pale, almost unhealthily so, and the bridge of her nose as well as her cheeks are lightly freckled. Striking in contrast to her ghostly skin, and one of her favorite features, are her vibrant green eyes. The outer edges of her irises are the darkest green, and as you near the pupil, the green gets lighter and lighter and fades into a peculiar yellow-green color.
Personality: C.J isn't shy and is actually very outspoken and somewhat brave, but prefers to appear as if she's quiet and meek to trick others into underestimating her. However, if she's comfortable enough with you, she won't hesitate to be very blunt and almost cruelly honest with you. C.J isn't afraid of sharing her opinion. A strategist, she's always thinking ahead and trying to be one step ahead of whoever she's dealing with- whether it be a bully at school or someone who seriously needs a butt kickin'. Although she is strategical and loves kicking some good butt sometimes, C.J doesn't like to fight without reason and prefers to settle things by talking, or at last trying to talk it out before it has to come to a fight. The sixteen-year-old girl dislikes not having the upperhand and not knowing much about who she's dealing with. There are times when C.J is nice, but you've had to do something mighty big to earn that kind of respect and kindness from her.
Sacred sign: Owl
Other: FAIL. THIS, RIGHT HERE, IS PURE FAIL. I'M SORRY. :c
- Blank -
Full name: Fenris Cain Olson Gender: Male God or Goddess: Fenris, the Norse God of Wolves and Combat. )Link:http://leapingstag.wikidot.com/fenrir-pride( Human description: Fenris aka Fen is a satisfyingly muscular seventeen year old with a golden, almost olive complexion. His deep hazel eyes remind some of the color the sky gets before a tornado- a ominous yellow and brown. His limbs are long and sharp- as if made from a photograph based on straight lines. He has a lighter tone of black hair like charcoal cut to a fauxhawk style contsantly. Daily attire is a longsleve or sleveless shirt -depending on the weather- and darkwashed jeans. Fen's right shoulderblade is tattoed with the symbol of his god. )The pic in the link( He always wears some strip of clothing with black wolf fur stitched into it, the item itself varies. He has an almost Russian accent. Personality: Fen uses his surroundings to show the world just how powerful he is. Whenever things get tough- where normal people would back down he stands up to it and throws it to the ground. He's mostly anti-social, resorting to martial arts to lock himself away for hours at a time. You do NOT want to be on Fen's bad side, because there is no mercy for anyone in his opinion. He enjoys being dominant in almost everything he does. Overall- he's an Alpha. Sacred sign: Fenris's sacred sign is a black wolf. Other: Nope. :3 Just pleeease accept this.
- Jay - Full name: Nathaniel Thomas Robinson
Gender: Male
God or Goddess: Apollo
Human description: Nathan has short-cut hair that is dark brown but has a tint of red to it when presented in the sunlight. He has such a dark tan that sometimes in the shadows, he might be depicted as African-American. His eyes are a lighter brown with small slivers of blue near the pupil. Nathan often wears shorts and a t-shirt even if it's the dead of winter. Nathaniel also typically wears flip-flops or sandals. He has a 'surfer-dude' look, even though he's never seen the ocean before. Nathan can play the guitar, and is often seen carrying it and its case around with him. Along with this, he typically has a backpack slung over his shoulder, the contents are assorted and range from empty candy wrappers to a thick book full of all the greek myths. Nathan stands at a lengthy and thin stature, and is often picked first for relay races and leg races in gym class. Nathan always wears a necklace that has a copper pendant of the sun dangling at the end.
Personality: Nathan is generally peaceful, and rarely picks fights. But, don't let that fool you. He can get ticked off fairly easy if you are hurting one of his friends or family members. He's generally cheerful, and can't be put down by much, he always seems to look on the brighter side of things. Nathaniel can't stand the cold, and wishes to move to some island in the South Pacific where it's sunny all year round. If you gave him the right tools and supplies, Nathan could likely build a pretty bad-butt car. He's generally drawn to mechanics, and has been for as long as he can remember. If you handed him pictures of any car, he could quickly determine the model, maker, and other statistics that the average human-being wouldn't be able to pick out unless you handed them a car catalog.
Sacred sign: The Sun
Other: Nothing, except for that I'm sorry I was so late on getting the form sent in.

| [Yay! Okay, The posting order is how the characters are listed on the first post. Please do not post until it's your turn. Thank you, guys. ]
The air stunk of gas and pollution as Toree Jane hurried through the streets of Chicago. It was so disgusting here, and she couldn't wait to go back to her own house, right near the forest, and no stinking city for miles. She wove amoung the people silently, not giving anyone a second glance. Her bag was slung over her shoulder, carrying her dagger and money. Her parents wouldn't let her bring her bow, because apparently, it would be sort of noticable in the ragged blue duffel bag. The exhaust and garabage stench filled her nose even more, nearly making a country girl like her gag. She never liked Chicago, especially because everything and everyone was so tall. She started to twirled her hair between her fingers, her eyes focused straight ahead stubbornly. Toree ran a hand through her long pale hair, nearing the subway. She imagined the smell of the pine trees and brush surrounding her, instead of the filthy air of city people with their cars and new electronic gadgets. She didn't even have a television, while some of these people had three. She nearly bumped into a older man who looked in a serious rush, and he simply just shoved her "poiltely" out of the way, not even bothering to apologize. Toree made a disgusted noise, heading toward the subway again. "This city is just so gross." She muttered to herself, rubbing the back of her neck. She didn't get why her mother couldn't have come to check on heir father in the hospital herself. Sure she had to take care of her sister, who had the fever, but Toree could've done that too. But no, her mom had insisted she'd go see her father, who hasn't seen her for two months. He hardly seemed to cared about his eldest daughter anyway. It was all about little Callan these days. Why couldn't they just move back to their small town in Ohio, where there was hadly any polluting cities? But her dad just had to take this job opportunity, and only months after he falls off a roof and breaks nearly every bone in his body. At least her parents cared enough to not move into Chicago entirely.

| {Haha... Heh'... Sorry! xD I was confused by posting order. It took five people telling me to get my booty in order to figure out that I WAS NEXT. XD} "Oopsie-Daisy!" Willow tripped over her own two feet for the fifth time this morning. The man on the subway beside her glared, but it's not like the tall-gangly girl could help it. She was chronically clumsy. It was like a disease, always falling and scraping up her hands and knees. I guess she made up with it by being quite possibly the brainiest person on the planet. Not to brag, but Willow definitly wasn't lacking in the brain-power area. If only her mom would realize that if she'd let Willow sign up for that scholarship, her mom wouldn't have to worry about getting her through college. Let alone anywhere the rest of her life. Willow could take care of her mom; her up-tight, 'I've-got-to-do-everything-myself' mother. But that's beside the point. Right now, her mission was to get to the library, hang out for a couple hours and pick out some books she hadn't read yet (a feat, to even find one), and then go get some milk. It really should've been a simple task, but how this morning was going already, it looked like today was just going to be another day in Willow Underwood's life. She'd already tripped twice going down the stairs of her apartment building, startling the old woman who sat outside and fed the pigeons. Not to mention, barreling into a random man on the street while she wasn't looking, trying to remember if she'd grabbed her library card from her bedside table. Then, when she'd finally gotten down into the subway system, she'd knocked into a woman with her child, made the kid cry, and been forced to bribe the child to stop before the mother noticed and shot Will a dirty look. Who ever said candy wasn't the answer to life, was wrong. The kid shut right up after she grabbed a sucker and shoved it into the child's face. Let's just hope the mother doesn't think I poisoned it, Willow thought to herself, grimacing as the subway jerked to a stop. The tall girl stumbled out of the car and then raced up the stairs, popping back out into the real world with the library just across the street. "Thank. You." Willow breathed a sigh of relief, walking purposely forward, forgetting to press the button on the light pole to let her cross the street. Yeah, probably not one of her best ideas. A car horn honked just soon enough that Will had a time to hop out of the road and land with her butt firmly in place on the sidewalk. She huffed and ran a hand through her hair before looking across the street at the library, "You're going to kill me before I get a book, aren't you?" Sure, she was talking to herself, and that caused more than a couple of people to look at her strangely, but Will didn't care. At least she'd never gotten lost in the big city of Chicago. How? She had no earthly idea, but the girl was very good with direction, and even if she'd never been to the place before, the chances were slim to none that she'd get lost on her way. I guess that was her karma giving her good directions to make up for her klutzy-ness. Ten minutes later, after dodging a home-less man with a grocery cart, Willow was inside the library finally. She nodded to the elderly woman behind the counter and shot her a small sheepish smile before heading straight towards the new arrivals. She was one of the library's most frequent visitors. It didn't come as a surprise. Willow might've hated being near people in the sense where she was obligated to talk, but at the library, she could find herself a small corner, do her homework in record time, and then settle in with a nice classic book, or even something that had just been published. At this point in her life, she didn't really care what she was reading, as long as she was reading. As the girl sat down in a plush chair in the back, she glanced up and saw one of the other patrons that was almost always at the library when she was. He's really cute, She thought to herself as she flipped through the book to the first chapter, still idly glancing up at him out of the corner of her eyes, that was, until he looked straight at her. Oh mother of a- Willow blushed right to her hair-line and buried her nose in the book, praying that the guy wouldn't try and approach her like the first time they had seen each other. That was a disaster story that no one should ever have to relive. | |

| Chicago. What could she say about Chicago?
For one, it was dirty. Filthy, grimy, whatever you wanted to call it. The air (which, by the way, probably wasn't safe to breathe) was filled with the stench of garbage and pollution. It really sucked, the way the world was now. There had been a time, however long ago, where the world hadn't been hanging on by a thin thread. Cyrena Janthina Argyris expertly weaved her way through the crowd. On the busy street of Chicago, many were walking to work, early this fine (if you could call it that) morning. Men in plain, gray suits, with ties that looked ready to cut off their circulation, carrying their briefcases stiffly. Rolling her eyes, she mentally added one more thing to her list of reasons why she wasn't looking forward to being an adult in a couple years. Work. Unless she could get a good job, or a job somewhere not in Chicago, work was going to be as bleak as everything else in this city. Balancing precariously on the edge of the concrete sidewalk, C.J decided that she couldn't afford to waste time anymore. If she was going to make the subway, she was going to have to hightail it. Ignoring the sign just across the way that was blinking brightly in her face, spelling out the words 'DON'T WALK', she started across the street. A chorus of honking horns greeted her presence. Turning, she flashed a grin at the irritable commuters. Try and mow her down, she dared them. As she slowed her pace half-way across the crosswalk, she earned herself the finger from an angry, middle-aged man driving a taxi. Finally, she sped up her pace and reached the sidewalk on the other side. By the time she did, however, the light turned and the cars were forced to wait as the pedestrians crossed the walk. Snickering to herself, C.J sped up her pace. Breaking into a full-on sprint towards the subway station, she sent out a silent prayer that she'd make it. Almost there, almost there... Flinging herself onto the subway train just as the doors were closing, she couldn't help but feeling pretty darn cool. I mean, who else was cool enough to make that? Her face was red, her hair sticking to her sweaty forehead as she weaved through the crowded subway car, trying to find a seat. Pushing past a large, sweaty man with a stained t-shirt and having a staring contest with a mother of two screaming children under the age of five, C.J got herself a seat. After a fifteen minute ride, she arrived at her destination. The thrift shop, just a street down from the library. Now, C.J didn't have a lot of money, nor did she come from a family that had a lot of money to begin with, but the thrift shop wasn't expensive. Good condition for half the price. Heading into the shop, she heard the familiar twinkle of the bell strung neatly above the door. Rigged the ring whenever someone entered the shop, it was a pretty good system to use, in C.J's opinion (not that her opinion mattered, half the time). Walking over, she heaved herself up onto the counter and grinned when the shop owner came out of the back room. "Mornin'," C.J greeted him with a bright smile. He was kind of like her uncle, but not related to her, of course. He wasn't stupid and stuck-up like most adults were. To her, anyways, but again, who asked her opinion? He smiled at her, the edges of his eyes krinkling. "Good morning, C.J." It was like this every morning. Get up, catch the subway, hang out in the shop until her mother demanded that she come home at five (it wasn't even dark yet!). C.J wanted things to change, to be more exciting... Careful what'cha wish for.
