The Chronicals Of Darkness: Tainted Water

Minx winced when the she-wolf moaned and loosened her wings a little. The she-wolf seemed half crazy with the smell of blood in the air. Minx looked back the way she had come and remembered her abondoned kill, when the connection was made she looked sheepishly at the three wolves.

Cross's ears pointed towards Minx, as if she wanted to answer her question but couldn't because she was holding Neon; she didn't want the first impression of this other wolf to get any worse.

"We're the Clawsr pack," Nightclaw introduced, her gray-and-white pelt prickling slightly due to the discomfort that Neon was creating. "Mostly traveling and looking for... something." She flattened her ears, noticing that she shouldn't have said 'looking for.' That had probably caught the golden wolf's attention and she would ask for more. But Nightclaw knew that she probably wasn't supposed to tell, or if she did, the other wolf wouldn't understand. Briefly, she shrugged.

Minx's eyes flicked between the two wolves, one was black and white and the other was blue and black. She looked quizcally at the black and white wolf, wondering what the something is. It looked like she couldn't tell her though so Minx resinged. Untensing a little Minx shook out her fur and said, "Clawsr pack? Why would you be traveling? Were your resources low where you were?" She didn't mean to pry, but she was curious.

The wind shifted and the smell of blood went eleswhere. Minx sat down and gazed shamefully at the two she-wolves, with the new wind direction she could tell this was their territory. Minx lowered her head, and said, "I did not know this was your territory, I'm sorry for intruding." Ruffling her wings Minx noted that the other wolf was sturggling to go back to the other wolves. She heard someone say loner, they were talking about her.

[color=black] "She didn't know that this was our territory, dasher." Neon said after the she-wolf said that.

Dasher looked at her, and suddenly he felt stronger. "Neon, There's something about that wolf. When she's around, i feel stronger."

"What? How can you tell that? you can'teven see her." Neon asked.

"I can feel it in the air. Her aura is pure, and when she's around, i'll be able to appear normaly."dasher than closed his eyes, and focused on the she-wolf's aura. he then appeared so everyone could see him, but he looked blurry. "Join our pack, Minx." He said, just before the wind blew his image away as if he was just a spirit.

"How do you know her name?" Neon asked.

"I...I don't know. I guess i just knew from her aura." Dasher said.

Aces couldn't believe what had just happened. dasher had appeared in front of them for some reason, and asked the strange loner to join the pack. and, he had been in his normal form, not ace's body.

((If your confused,dasher is the alpha, and he has asked minx to join the pack he and aces switched bodies for some reason, and now nobody can see dasher or hear him except for neon. :3))

Minx looked astonished and said, "Yes," something about that wolf made her feel different moved somehow. She was honored that she had been asked to join his pack.

Minx bowed her head and sighed in longing to see the mystirious wolf again. She ruffled her wings and sat down. "So what now?" she asked.

"We arn't trying to find a new home." Neon said. "There are more of us at our camp, but before we go back, we need to get dasher- that wolf you just saw- and aces back in their own bodies. You see, we have a prophecy, and dasher's our alpha, so this is realy important to us." Neon paused, then started again. " We would tell you to go back to our camp, because this journey is very, very dangerous, but dasher says when your around, he'll be able to appear in front of us, so we need you here." Neon tried to hide the jeoulousy in her tone. She didn't dislike minx- she actually kind of liked her- but the fact she was special to dasher made her jeoulous, because she herself loved the male.

Dasher looked at neon. "Somebody's jeoulous...." He muttered.

Neon snarled and whipped her head around to dasher. "I am not!" she growled.

Dasher looked at her, serious this time. "Neon, i just realized that i hadn't left anyone in charge when i left, and they'll be fighting over who's in charge."


((Lol i need to make a little comic about what's happening back at the camp. they'll all be fighting. XD)_

Minx looked at Dasher and back at Neon, she could tell that Neon didn't dislike her, but there was and edge to her voice. She's jelous of me. Minx realized in shock no one had ever been jeoluous of her before. Minx looked at Dasher and realized that Neon was jeoulous of her because Dasher needed her. Minx herself liked Dasher and liked that he needed her.

Minx noticed her gaze and dipped her head in a silent hello. Minx didn't want to but she had to acknowledge that Neon had more of a claim to Dasher than anybody rihgt now. Minx lay down and covered herself with the air she didn't like people to see her and today was one of the only times she had let herslf be seen by other wolves, without her cover she felt so exposed. Minx remembered Neon looking at her and thought, " Hows that for a shocker?" smiling in her relaxed state. She was half asleep half awake as she lay under the cover of the air.

Minx witnessed the exchange with bitterness, Neon wasn't even surprised that she couldn't be seen. Minx knew that she didn't stand a chance with this strange wolf, but she couldn't help herself his Aura was drawing her in. Like it was a drug or something. She gazed longingly at the two wolves then turned away, and clearing the air so that she could be seen, she followed the others into the den.

Minx witnesse the two wolves talking but didn't hear what they said, ignoring it she slipped into dreams. Letting herself be fully seen for the first time (she always keeps herself a little cloaked except for in sleep) her coat sparkling a little in the moonlight that reached her in the den. Everything about her was more prominent, her body her fur, and her Aura, Dasher was more visible, without Minx cloaking herself.

Stirring she sat up and to tired to cloak herself Minx truly saw Dasher without any fuzziness, it made her want to go over there and bask in his Aura like it was sunlight. But where there is sun there is also shadows, and she felt a darker side to his aura as well, That must be the Dark Dasher that they were talking about earlier, she realized. Not knowing what to do she lay back down, and drifted back to sleep.

Minx woke with alarm hearing a howl that only she and Neon could hear. It was Dasher, she ran jumping lithley over the sleeping bodies of the other wolves to stop in front of him along with Neon. Not knowing what to do she sat there and let Neon have her moment with him, knowing that her time would come.

Minx was shocked when Neon's voice spoke in her mind but shook it off, and thought, "Calm him down, who is Fallen, I can find her in minutes, and she won't know that I'm there." Minx shook out her wings to prepare for flight.
