In the darkness, it was silent. Fireflies glew in the dark, and two pups were asleep. "It's okay, My pups" A she-wolf said as the pups wiggled a bit. It was october, an orange and black wolf. She had just given birth to two pups: Noel and Alexis. She was carrying them to a wolf pack, a friendly pack. She was just a loner, and she had no idea where the father of the pups went, and she couldn't raise them by herself. No, she was going to give the pups away. October sighed in the cold, her breath showing. Then she spotted a brown she-wolf. "Maya" october said, relieved.

"October" Maya said, padding over to the loner. "Hello. Are these the pups?" Maya asked, looking down at the little ones.

"Yes" October said. "Thanks...for everything" October said, handing the pups to the she-wolf.

"It's nothing, for an old friend." Maya said, her eyes twinkiling.

"Their names are noel and Alexis, They're two she-wolves" October said.

"I see." Maya said. She stared at her friend for a heart-beat. "It's alright" Maya finnaly said. "I'll take good care of them" She said.

October sighed. "I know...It's just....I'll miss them..." October licked her pup's muzzles. "I should be going now. Thanks, maya" october said, running into the darkness.

Maya stared after the she-wolf, then padded into the camp with her pups. She would lie...And say that the pups were hers, along with another abandoned pup, named dasher.

A female wolf carried one of he pups and her mate carried the other.

((A day later))

Maya looked down at her pups. "These are my pups, Dasher, alexis, and noel" Maya said, looking at the wolves around her. There was the beta, Flare, and her own mate, winter.

"They're beautiful" Flare said, looking down at the pups.

Winter leaned down and licked maya on the nose. "They are indeed" He said, smiling down at the pups.

The female looked at the den that was just ahead.She went inside.

October saw a pink she-wolf come in. "Hello" She said. October didn't care who she saw, and she didn't care if anyone just walked in her den like the she-wolf just did. She was deppressed, and broken down. She didn't feel like doing anything anymore- she missed her pups. Soon, she would probably be killed by SOME wolf...Maybe even blood pack.

Love looked at the wolf."Oh hi."she said.

october pricked her ears. "Oh no..." She muttered. "Quick, Leave before they-"

"Too late" Gasher said, padding into the den, pine and minus following. "October....Have you made up your mind?" Gasher said.

"I won't join your pack!" October said.

"Hm. To bad....You could have made a good mate for our leader." Gasher said. "Guess we'll just have to kill you...."Gasher realized that there was another she-wolf.


"Are you up for joining blood pack?" pine asked, getting closer to the female.

"Uhhh yes..."Love said looking at them

Pine's eyes widened, and so did octobers. "We've got a taker!" Pine said to the others.

"No, don't-"

"Shut up!" Gasher said, clawing october. "Alright. Let's take these two into the camp" Gasher said. Minus smiled and bit into october's scruff, and pine bit into love's scruff, taking them out of the den.

Gasher led them into blood pack.

Blood watched them come in. "I can't believe they would do that.." Blood muttered.

Vermer was pleased. "So....two females I can mate with" Vermer said.

Gasher nodded. "Yes sir. They would love to have your puppies, and they are grateful of this valued honor." Gasher said.

October snarled.

"Huh what?"Love knew she had to escape,but how!

October snarled again. "Let go of me!" october growled, clawing minus in the nose.

Minus snarled but dropped the she-wolf. "I was starved. I had to give my puppies away, and i didn't even want to. What makes you think that i would mate with an abomination like you!??!" october snarled at vermer. "I would rather die!"

Blood was suprised at how brave the she-wolf was.

Love wacthed the she wolf and knew they would kill her.If they didn't stay up and wacth at night'she would escape then

"You little-"

"No. It's alright. I like females that are hard to get." Vermer said. Keep the two in a den, adn gaurd them.

Gasher and minus nodded. "Come on, pine. we'll gaurd tonight. Is that okay, gasher?" Minus asked. Gasher nodded.

Love and october were taken into a den, and minus and pine guarded the entrence to the camp. October lied down. "There's no way we'll be able to escape" october sighed.

Blood ran into the den. "Look,-"

"Haven't you tormented me enough already?" october snarled.

"I'm here to help you" Blood said.

"Help us?How?"Love said angry

"If you don't sush, they'll hear you!" Blood snarled. "Look...i don't like what they do to females, so i'm going to help you out of here. Besides....I'll have a pup of my own soon....and i know how you feel" Blood said, looking at october.

October looked at him. "You don't know how i feel-"

"Yes i do. I'm going to have to give my pup away, because nobody is aloud to have pups except for the leader." Blood said. "Now follow me"

"Why?How do I know this isn't just a trick to hurt us!"Love yelled.

"Shut up!" Blood snarled at the female. "If you want to sit here and be forced to mate with the leader, then that's your choice!' He growled.

October looked at him. "I don't think he's lieing"

"Ok, but i still dont like it..."love said

"Just stay behind me. If i flick my tail, hide behind the nearest thing." Blood said, padding out of the den, his ice blue eyes twinkiling.

"Blood! you set those females straight?" gasher asked.

blood flicked his tail.

October ducked beind a bush.

"Yes" Blood said, his eyes twinkiling. "They're perfect for vermer" Blood said.

"Good" Gasher said. "you going huning?"

"Yeah. hey, gasher can you check on pine? i think he's sick" Blood said.

"Sure." gasher said, padding to pine's den.

"hurry! while he's down by there den's he'll probably check on your den!" blood said.

october bolted out the amp entrence.

Love ran out behind October and stopped to say"Thank you"to blood.

Blood nodded at love. "Please be careful!" he called behind them.

Gasher ran out of the den, panting. "Blood, they got away! Did you see them come this way?!?!" Gasher asked.

"no, i didn't see them-"

"Lier!" Minus snarled, jumping down from a rock. "I've been watching you this whole time....And you let theme get away!!" minus growled.

gasher stared at blood in disbelief. "You traitor!'

"What is this traitor you speak of?" Vermer said, slinking into the entrence of the camp.

"vermer! Your back from hunting!" Pine said, padding up to him as vermer set down a peice of prey.
