Violet wachted him go.She was glad to be alone again.Not that she didn't like him,she just liked being alone.

"Hey, Dasher, what's up!" she shouted, leaping to the side but still having his claws score her flank. Snarling for a moment, she stared at him in terror. What in the world was going ON? She howled miserably, but stopped abruptly when his eyes turned back to normal.

"Dasher, please!" Cross wailed, jumping up to him as she saw blood drip out of his mouth. Panicked, she began to lick his muzzle, seeing if it would do anything. Her eyes were desperate, and she sensed an odd presence, but she couldn't pinpoint it.

Cross met his gaze for just a moment, jumping out of the way just in time. Quickly, she remembered pinning him last time, and decided that maybe her super strength would come in use now. As nimbly as she could, and trying not to leave a gap for escape, she leaped towards his side, trying to pin him on his front without hurting him.

"That's because..." she paused in dismay, then shook her head to clear it. "You're not the real Dasher!" The snarl seemed like she was enraged at something else. How else could he be stronger than her? Extremely annoyed, she concluded that she would have to look for anyone else who might be around that could be suspicious.

Opening her mouth to scent, Cross ran in a circle around the area, but she couldn't see anyone. Could he be...? She looked towards Dasher, trying to find a way to get information discreetly.

"Hey! Wherever you are, you're doing a good job," she said, hoping the others wouldn't jump to conclusions. The pain from the wound that Dasher had given her was renewed, but she was persistent.

Onidori's ears flicked towards Rei, and he stood up. "The others haven't come back yet," he said, concerned, and finally turned his whole head in her direction. "Should we wait here?"

Bumble and Burst were sound asleep by this time. Apparently they had needed a nap.

For a moment, Cross heard something different. It was.... Dasher's voice. A surge of thrill filled her, but it was turned a bit negative as he said to run away. For a moment, she stood there, shivering, then replied, "I'll do it for you. I know you're not really the red-eyed monster who's controlling you." The last part was a bit of a growl. Rage and loyalty powering her on, she began to race into the forest, somewhere inconspicuous. The makeshift camp was too easy a guess... the old camp had tainted water... wait. Tainted water! Was that what had left Dasher vulnerable to attack? A considerably distance from Dasher, she stopped to ponder the fact cautiously.

Cross continued to the old camp as she thought. How could the tainted water pertain to it...? The tainted water reminded her of a swamp, where dark things were. Maybe that was it...

As she ran faster, the volcano came into sight, and she began to run around the edge, determined to find out. There was something her instinct was telling her that she couldn't quite pinpoint, but she knew that it was important, and it was something to do with the tainted water.

Violet was walking around looking for prey when she saw 3 wolves she knew.It was Dasher,Neon, and Halo.Halo was pinned down on the ground at Neons paws.Violet hid in the bushes so they wouldn't see her.
