Dawnfrost began to panic, pacing in front of the camp entrance. "Where is Branchstar?" she wondered, pounding her front paws on the ground anxiously. She looked towards the Leader's den, knowing Larchstar was still there, but.... JointClan had always had two leaders. For some reason the gray tabby had been feeling irritable lately.

Branchstar didn't know Kira's blush(?xD) and continued working, she had thoughts swirling around her head. Most of them about how she was going to KILL Moonstar. A while later, Kira and Branchstar were finally done building. "Do. ne." Branchstar growled.
Fernclaw had finally realized Stripepelt was missing, or hadn't been seen recently, and bounded up to Raincloud. "You haven't seen Stripepelt.. Have you? Or, come to think of it, branchstar?"

Kira smiled and turned to Moonstar. "Hey you! You gonna fix my back yet?" He yelled so that creep would hear him.

Moonstar looked up at Kira, frowning angrily. "I don't think I like that tone, boy. You got anything else?" He said, at least trying to sound tough.

Raincloud shook her head, looking towards Dawnfrost. Her daughter seemed just as anxious as she did, although Raincloud was a lot better at holding him in. "Where could they be?" she mewed, mostly to herself.

Branchstar was so tired and freaked out, she started giggling hysterically at Moonstar, who was trying to act tough. She tried to stifle her giggles, knowing that this was the WORST time in history to be laughing.

Fernclaw nodded slowly. "Branchstar thought it odd that Stripepelt hadn't been here, and went looking for him. And then, the ground tremors and whatever." Fernclaw said, padding off and murmuring under her breath. The ground shook as soon as she spoke, as if to proof her point.

Moonstar glared at Branchstar. "I'm sorry, is there something funny? I'd love to be amused," He questioned, actually serious.

Kira backed her up, saying, "Hey don't talk to her that way. Just because you lost your dignity doesn't mean you can be sarcastic to, not only a girl, but a LEADER, something you seem to lack."

Branchstar instantly shut up after Moonstar snapped at her, and looked at Kira after he stood up for her, touched. But she felt more then touched, she felt overjoyed that he seemed to care. She then worried by backing her up, Moonstar was going to hurt Kira again..

Moonstar stared into Kira's eyes. "Looky here, boy, I don't care if you're helping your girlfriend out, but you're under my control, my will, and you do NOT insult your master," He lectured.

Kira tried to lunge at Moonstar, but his back forced him to the floor.

Moonstar smirked and put his paw on Kira's head.

Branchstar lunged at Moonstar, bowling into him and trying anyway she could to get him away from Kira. Where did this fierce protectiveness come from? Only StarClan knew, because Branchstar sure as heck didn't.

Moonstar tried t0 slip out from Branchstar's grip, but couldn't. "Oh, so you got a crush on him as well?"

"For StarClan's sake, SHUT UP." Branchstar growled, slashing out her claws at him.

"I don't think I need too. Silence never solved anything, did it?" Moonstar explained and kicked Branchstar's stomach, hoping she would at least be thrown off guard.

Branchstar was, and her grip was loosened. She fell off him awkwardly, her paw stinging.

Moonstar rolled onto his paws. "I hope that taught you your lesson," He muttered, waiting for her next stirke.

Branchstar scoffed, growling at the same time. "What? Not to fight a little kitten, he might get hurt?" She growled innocently, and flashed her other paw out.

"No, the lesson was to never question the one in control. Let's study," Moonstar replied, sheathing his claws incase Branchstar attacked again.

"Shut up." Branchstar growled. "You aren't in control, stupid, you don't even have a Clan! And you probably listen to a little voice in your head, a phyco kittypet, who's DEAD. GONE. Get it through your HEAD already." Branchstar snarled, sitting up and holding her paw close to her.

"Which is why I need you," Moonstar exclaimed at "You don't even have a clan." He didn't even listen to the rest. "I need you, since I knew you wouldn't let Kira here get hurt. I knew you would risk it all for a little wimps life. See look, he can't even move without pain now. Our deal isn't nulled just because you have different plans. It's nulled when I say so," He explained, prowling to Kira, who was on the floor. "Perhaps you have different plans?"

"He's not a wimp." Branchstar growled under her breath. She limped on three paws over to Kira, literally shoving herself in front of Moonstar. She glared up at him, her mind only set on protecting Kira. "How about the deal's nulled when your not leader anymore? Oh wait- you never were one."

"Ah, but you never said anything about that, now did you?" Moonstar replied, sheathing on claw on his other paw.

"Just did. " Branchstar growled, her face still contorted into a protective fury.

"Not when we made the deal though," Moonstar corrected, smiling evilly. "I took your bargain word for word."
