Fernclaw rolled her eyes at Clawflower yet again, and led the way to the den.

Silver saw Clawflower and Fernclaw headin off. Visions she didn't want to see flasheed in her mind, and she drowned them. She began to get nervous.

((So, yeah, it's about the middle of the night... or morning...?))

Larchstar curled up in her den to sleep... and did so within a matter of time.

((I never really had this dream, I just felt like typing it...))

Larchstar couldn't really tell where she was, nor did she really care... she stood still, despite her clueless thoughts. She didn't feel like she needed to do much anything other than stand here...

And then a shadow was approaching. The silvery-white glint of its fur told her that it was Brackenheart, but almost as soon as he appeared he disappeared into another shadow, and then emerged again. Except this time, it was a long, sleek tom with long, black-streaked, earth-colored fur. His eyes were a glaring golden-amber color, although they looked more like a wolf's than anything.

Larchstar gaped. She hadn't seen this cat in forever... not since Brackenheart had died. She stepped closer warily.

"...Wolfeyes?" she asked.

The quiet tom nodded, and drew closer. "Hello, Larchstar."

[CPR! REVIVING THE DEAD THREAD! C'MON, YOU CAN MAKE IT! xD]

Fernclaw was curled up in the warrior's den, tossing and turning. She was having a dream, the dream she always did have. But wasn't it considered a nightmare, not even close to a dream? It felt so real, slashing her claws across her mother's face as she had done before..
Fernclaw woke, bolting up right and panting heavily. Her body was trembling all over, eyes wide.
Branchstar wasn't asleep, and she noticed Silver wasn't either. She padded over, moonlight bathing both the she-cats pelts. "You can't sleep either?" Branchstar murmured quietly, looking at the moon.

Silver looked up from where she lie, green eyes fglinting in the moonlight. "Never can." She muttered as she got up and paced a few times before stopped and staring at the moon. Her pelt shone, brightly, as if it where shimmering silk.

And thus, is how she got her name.
Silver.

It was just a dream, just a dream. Fernclaw tried to calm herself. She would never do anything like it again. But there was that word.. Again.

Branchstar had never noticed it before, but Silver was pretty in the moonlight. She sighed.

((Okay, I lost my inspiration for the Wolfeyes dream xD))

Larchstar nuzzled the earth-colored tom. you're so fluffY!, she said She didn't know what to do other than that. It was an instinct.

Wolfeyes looked forwards with a blank expression.

And then the dream ended because I don't have any more ideas.

Fernclaw looked around the den, hopeful that she hadn't woken anybody.
Her body still trembled slightly, but her panicky panting had stopped, and she breathed normally now.
She was frightened, deathly frightened..
Of herself.

Future wrote:

"Neither can I," Branchstar muttered in an undertone. Branchstar had just noticed how Silver had gotten her name.. How her pelt shimmered.
Branchstar remembered all those moons ago when she had loathed Silver, hated her.
And then they had to team up to save the Clan, from Mistress..
And now everything seemed to be alright. Mistress was gone, the Clan was peaceful..
"Why do I have the suspicion something bad's going to happen, when everything is so peaceful?" Branchstar murmured, a question, more to herself then Silver. "Of course, we are JointClan, and it seems like everywhere we look we've been faced with yet another problem."

(OOH. FORESHADOWING.)

(Mm, I'm thinking we might have too. I had an idea for the next thread, but we might as well get it started now! =) Basically the plot is JointClan, now that Mistress is gone, thinks they have nothing to fear. But then suddenly, in the middle of spring, there are sudden earthquakes and somebody from the Clan goes missing. And they have to figure out whats going on. It's kinda like what happened in Midnight of the actual Warriors series, but we'll tweak it a bit. And I'm thinking we'll skip ahead to spring, and Stripepelt will be the warrior missing. We could start from where they realize he's missing and such.. If you guys want to do the plot? =) ))

Fernclaw had still been having nightmares, ever since she'd come back from MellowClan.
Even though there was clearly nothing to fear. Nothing at all, the forest was peaceful.
Pink flowers and blue ones and yellow ones all dotted the forest, making it bright with springtime.
She smiled at the sky as she padded out of the Warrior's den, yawning.

Branchstar was glad that nothing too perlious had happened since Mistress left.
The forest was once again peaceful, the springtime bringing prey and flora.
She stretched and then padded out to find Stripepelt, to discuss moving to the Elder's den with him.
But he was nowhere to be found.

Dawnfrost still fidgeted in her den. She hadn't been sleeping quite as much lately, and she noticed that every morning she had been looking out into the camp for any sign of Croweyes. As if it were a trouble to wake up, she slowly moved her tail away from her nose, and stood up. Raincloud had gone out to collect herbs early, she had guessed; there was only a stale scent of her mentor. Instinctively, she glanced out into the camp, hoping she didn't see anything. And yet, when she didn't find Croweyes, an inevitable pang of disappointment attacked her. With a sigh, she sat down. She was glad Raincloud wasn't here at the moment, or she would get suspicious. Absentmindedly she turned around and began to organize the herbs for no real reason.

Branchstar shook her head slowly to herself.
Stripepelt had gone hunting, maybe, or he had taken his apprentice out for early practice?
What if he had gotten hurt, he was thinner and looking fragile, Branchstar had noticed.
She padded into the medicine cat's den, trying to stay calm.
"Have you seen Stripepelt?" She asked Dawnfrost.

Stripepelt growled, pawing at the silver metal of the cage.
He looked around, and noted that he was in a monster.
He growled at the big yellow machine that the twolegs had out in the forest, knocking down trees and causing tremors.
He tried to not worry, but it was quite hard. He whimpered slightly.
Something was wrong.

Dawnfrost shook her head, feeling that the distraction was good for her. "Sorry," she replied. "But Raincloud might have seen him, since she's been out for most of the morning." Dawnfrost yawned for a moment, then shook her head again. She had gotten more sleep last night, so why did she still feel like something was wrong?

Branchstar nodded slowly again.
"Thank you, Dawnfrost." She said, and then padded out.
She started into the forest, hopefully she'd run into Raincloud and she'd have seen Stripepelt.

Raincloud quickly pulled up the last of her roots and placed them gently between her fangs, ready to return to camp. Her pace was leisurely, although she seemed anxious to get back for some reason. Suddenly, she stopped, noticing another cat in the forest -- Branchstar?

"Hello," she greeted, enunciating as well as she could through a mouthful of herbs. The gray tabby padded up to her leader, dipping her head.

Larchstar's ears flicked in her sleep. It was the dream of this memory: a ginger tom questioning Brackenheart's leaving to a border patrol/mission. At that point, Brackenheart had barely been named a warrior, or at least it had seemed like it due to the slow days that passed while he was kept inactive in the medicine cat's den.

It wasn't long before the leader awoke, and almost ran out of her den to say goodbye to Brackenheart when she remembered she wasn't totally involved with the incident, and THEN she remembered that it was only a dream. Her sigh of relief was strengthened when she spotted the pale tom sauntering casually out of the warriors' den. She was thinking that he wouldn't make a good leader, thanks to his more independent personality and fighting style, and he probably wouldn't be interested anyway.

But as she examined him closer, she realized that as he walked he glanced carefully around the camp. Something was wrong; he didn't usually act like this. With a worried expression, she leaped a few times until she appeared in front of him like a fallen boulder.

She was about to ask him what was wrong, but he lowered his voice to reply to it before she asked, which made him barely audible to anyone who was farther away than one of his long whiskers.

He looked as if he was purposely trying to dodge her butterfly-like eyes. As he asked the question, it seemed as if time was standing still: "Have you seen Stripepelt?"

"You wouldn't have happened to have seen Stripepelt, would you?"
Branchstar asked curious, trying to remain calm.
But she couldn't help but tremble slightly.
Something was wrong.
Dead.
Wrong.

((HEAY! I realize how dead this was, so imma gonna just, erm, pop in somewhere.

Moonstar wandered the forest, avoiding contact with the other cats. He was, let me see, tamed a bit. Of course, he thought he would be killed if he were to ever be seen, but when he saw Stripepelt in that twoleg cage. Well, it only fueled his ambition to finish what his Mistress had started; rule the clans, possibly the world. Mistress' spirit would look down at the poor souls. "Yes..." He whispered. Now, just to figure out how...

((*pant pant pant*))

Stripepelt kept struggling against the cage.
It was absolutely no use; he wasn't getting out any time soon.
He thought, for half a second, he saw somebody familiar.
Moonclaw.. Or Moonstar, now that Mistress had died.
A familiar rush of anger filled him as he thought of her, and his paws crashed onto the cage again, in an attempt to try and break free.
