mintstar nodded. "ok we are here today to welcome 5 new apprentices. Stormkit,moonkit,angelkit,leafkit and splashkit come forward."

Splashkit got up and walked up the old branch.

Stormkit and angelkit stumbled up the branch.

Moonkit paused for a moment. Her eyes shined, and then she padded up to mintstar and her sister.

Leafkit raised her tail and walled to Ministar, staring him in the eyes.
"Im ready." she whispered so only her sister and he could hear her words.

Splashkit smiled and whispered,"I know you are."

Mintstar looked at the kits. "ok stormkit from this day till you earn you warrior name you will be known as Stormpaw. Treeflight you will be Stormpaw's mentor."

Stormpaw nodded and touched noses with his new mentor.

Angelkit's eyes lit up. "Stormpaw, Stormpaw!" She chanted.

Moonkit did the same.

Silver began to chant, her voice turning beautiful. "Stormpaw!"
Ayame chanted with silver.

Treeflight stood there, touching noses with her apprentice, stunned.
She was a mentor!

Mintstar smiled. "Moonkit From this day till you get your warrior name you will be known as Moonpaw. Your mentor will be Silver."

Silver touched noses with Moonpaw, careful not to use her injured leg, holding it up so it wouldn't touch the ground.
Her pelt glowed a beautiful Silver in the moonlight.
She was Silver.

"Moonpaw, Moonpaw!" Both angelkit and stormpaw chanted.

Dothead touched noses with Angelpaw,smiling.

She suddenly remembered Mossleaf and her ears twitched.

Silver glanced at Ministar. "Nothing...." she muttered as she padded with her apprentice and sat by Spottedmask, Treesong, Angelpaw, and Treeflight.
