Wolf looked at her sternly. "Branch, I think you need someone to watch you. Your acting.. strange today." He said.
"I guess i'm not myself." She muttered.

"Well, duh!" Kira said, speaking his mind without realizing it.

Wolf looked sharply at him. "Shut it," He snapped. "We'll be out in the clearing," He assured his mate, and then dragged Kira away.

"Neh!" Kira said in pain. Grrr.

"What in the heck was that, Kira?" Wolf muttered once out and away from Branchstar. "I mean, I know shes not herself, but really? OUT LOUD."

"Sorry, it slipped," Kira admitted. "I'm really sorry."

"It's fine, what do you reckon is wrong with her?" He asked.

"Do you think that taking on the leadership was a bad idea for her? She seemed rather hesitant to take it." Wolf mused.

"Pssh, you think it was a bad idea? It was worse than when you ki- oh starclan," Kira said.

Wolf stared hard at him for a second, literally horrified and furious at the same time. "So," He said hotly, his face getting slightly red. "Why DO you think its a bad idea? Hm?" He snarled.

"Because... well, remember when she joined Mellowstar and got her name? Well, d'ya really think a person who's THAT GULIBLE TO AN ENEMY CLAN should lead the other one?" Kira explained, sorta winging it.

Wolf stared at him for a moment, his face blank. What was he saying? That Branch wasn't fit to lead her Clan, that she was still evil or something? At that point in time, Wolf wanted to pounce on Kira and claw him to death. But instead, he cooled off slightly. "You know what? Shut up." He snarled, and stalked off, frowning.

Branchstar looked at Moonshadow and Branchthorn, now that they had shown up again. "Ohh.. I HATE THIS!" She hissed.

Silver scold. What was their problems?!

Wolf smacked into Silver, and jumped in surprise. "Sorry Silver," He muttered,

"Hey man, you asked me!" Kira retorted.

Silver just knocked over and she gave a weird noise in surprise. She sat up. "It's fine, you didn't see me." She growled kindly.

Wolf just growled back at Kira, and nodded at Silver. "Again, I'm sorry," He said gruffly, and began padding away. His leader had EVERY RIGHT IN STARCLAN to rule the Clan, but if Kira was doubitng her, what about the rest..?

Silver got up and followed Wolf. "Where you goin'?" she asked. She clearly trusted Branch. Loyal self.
