I lay out in a clearing, the air thick with mist from the early morning. My pelt was getting damp from the dew, but it was nothing I couldn't handle later. I found it comferting being alone, no one else to talk to me, or feel like they had to discuss something with me. A slight summer breeze interrupted the trees over hanging the clearing and the sunlight trickled through the holes more than before. I shook my head and rolled over onto my back, thinking; or more-so remembering, what used to be.
If the Arrival hadn't taken my old pack right now, I would've been in the Alpha's den. I growled to myself, as much as I hated the thought, I knew in some part of me, it was true. He had deserved his fate, every part of torture he inflicted on me, making me search through endless senerios, where I died, or even going into the past too relive all the pain I had recived. I rolled back over with a small intake of air.
I was praying to Star Pack that this pack would treat me better, not like the Pawn I had been in my old one.

I silently walked closer to Foto. She had always seem so lonely to me, never really talking to anyone. Maybe she just had a rough life. I know I did. But that would just make me selfish, looking onto myself in self-pity, right?
The dew was making it harded to not be heard, his fur getting sticky and such.
That Arrival killed all of our aqquantices, right? Then why did they spare us? Maybe because we were the unfortunate ones, the servants to the abusive alpha. but that would be a terrible simile, wouldn't it? And why do I keep talking to myself, believing someone's going to answer? I must be going crazy! He sigh, not caring about being sneaky.
Dew's not my kind of thing, huh. Ha! Kasuke, Kasuke, Kasuke, I chant your name as I look to the clouds and I see all the... clouds. Oh wow, Starclan forgive me for that horrible work of poetry. I smiled.
Maybe I can at least cheer Foto up. She seems to have a nice personality. He started to pick up his pace.

I noticed Swan beside me, she was nice enough, kind-of arrogant. Always using her powers in front of other wolves, maybe she was bored. I got up on my front paws and streached out my stiff back muscles. Moving my neck from side to side, I cracked it and then yawned. The dew still stuck to my fur lightly so I shook a bit off, not towards Swan. Turning my head, I nodded in her direction and greeted, "Hello. What beings you here?" As soon as I asked, a vision flashed over my line of vision.
Most wolves would have freaked apon not being able to see anything, but I was so used to it, I waited paitently for it too pass. It was the same vision I had been getting since the Arrival. It seemed like Star Clan was trying to tell me something with this vision, but I couldn't make sense out of it. I had gotten in dreams, and in random points of the day. Shaking my fur again, my ears perked at the sound of paw-pads. "I don't think we are alone Swan." I growled, my nose pricking at the scent.

I dipped my head in greeting. I shrugged, not really getting what she said. "Figures. We're
never alone here. With all the darn wolves around here, and the danger..." She sighed, noting kasuke(sp?) walking near Foto and her. Not sure what to think, she arranged her fluffy white wings to make them a bit more relaxed.

I knew the jig was up. I walked faster. "Sorry to intrude. I just thought I could, y'know, stick around?" I asked in an explaining tone. "Of course, if you want, I could just leave," I continued. Doubts creeped into my head. What if she thinks I don't understand? About the torture we went through before?

(Sub, I don't think any of them were in the same packs... I thought each wolf was from a different pack... He wouldn't know. {Please don't think I am rude, but I'd like it if no one knew about Foto's past. That's kind of something I'd like to keep under-wraps.})

I sat down on my hind legs and shook my fur out once more before responding, "I don't care one bit if you stay Kasuke. I'll be my choice if I want to leave." Licking my paw, I turned my head towards Swan and added, "Nice, socks."

(If she sounds a bit rude, don't take it personally, it's how she is, for now.)

I was a bit startled. But it did not hurt me. I lifted a leg and looked at my striped sockets. "This was my pack's tradition. All the wolves had them. Even the scarf." I explained. I shook her head to get my hairish thing out of my eyes.

((i know they're all from different packs, Reb. Kasuke just thought that she had a rough life before because to him, Foto seemed lonely. Kasuke then relates himself to her. THat's what I meant))

I quickly bowed my head in respect and sat down. I then looked at what Swan had on. I was interested in them. I was wondering how they were made, or found, I didn't know. But then I turned back to Foto. Somehow, I just seemed... interested into her. She seemed like the kind of person you'd meet in one of those pack legends. The one who didn't seem important but then shows that everything fits in the end. I wonder If she knows I know that.

In her den, Kokoro was talking to herself.

"Sooner or later I'll have to fill in the important positions such as alpha male... The Arrival could strike again at any time. But doesn't it always come from the north?"

I padded up to the alpha den. "Kokoro? Mind if I can come in?" He asked, standing near the entrance. He heard her talking about the danger lurking around. The "thing" separated him from his pack, soulmate, friendships.... He shook his head.

Kokoro looked up. "Yes you may," she said politely.

Kokoro nodded. "I've found that the attacks always come from the north. Which means there must be something up north..."

"I would like to, if you don't mind," I volunteered. I knew this was an opportunity for myself to know more about Foto. I was starting to get up to follow her.

I started off toward Foto. She seemed very sensitive to her surroundings. I'm just following her though. Just try to be like Foto, I heard myself say in my head, and you'll learn something. Looks like that's what's happening today.
