"I know. I figured that out a short while ago when they said that it was Mr. Thomas they worked for." Jacob said reasonably.

Rebecca shot him a dirty look, "They could've been lying, but they way they tried to kidnap me was advanced. Very advanced, I am just glad they didn't have a chance to get my arms."

Jacob nodded. "That would have been bad..." He agreed. "This wasn't the real reason you brought me out here though. Was it?" He asked skeptically.

"No." Rebecca breathed. She blushed and looked down at her hands.

"What is it?" Jacob asked raising an eyebrow. Secretly he had wanted her to say 'Yeah' so he could have told her something with out it seeming so out of the blue.

"You go first." Rebecca said in a stern voice looking up at him, the light catching her green eyes and shimmering, "I can tell you have something to say. Don't lie, please."

"I-... I like you..." Jacob whispered his heart throbbing.

Rebecca blushed a deep red and the light made her cheeks look rosey. She looked up at the sky, it was probably about noon. Rebecca took a slow breath and whispered barely audible, "I like you to."

Jacob smiled. "I'm going to find out if this mission is real or fake. Tonight. I'm going into your school and spy on the teachers."

"We can go together." Rebecca said smiling, "I know a way we can get in without any detection."

Jacob smiled his eyes glinted. "We better get back to camp before your friends start thinking something happened to us." He said standing up.

Rebecca nodded and stood up beside Jacob. She bit her lip and then hugged him around the waist. She only came to a bit below his shoulder when they were standing side by side. She hugged him around the waist and buired her face in his stomach.

Jacob smiled and looked over her shoulder and saw the back part of the valley he hadn't seen.

Rebecca grinned as she released Jacob. "I'm sorry." She said quickly stepping back and blushing.

Jacob shook his head. "No need." He said and looked up at the sky.

Rebecca blushed later and then looked away, "We should get back..."

"Lead the way." Jacob said and took his eyes off of the sky.

Rebecca nodded and blushed as she slipped her hand into his. She turned and pulled him softly along towards the main camp.

"How did you find or build all of the treehouses back at camp?" Jacob asked catching up to her so she wasn't dragging him.

Rebecca smiled making her green eyes twinkle, "Alot of hard work. I started in sixth grade here and finished in ninth. This is the first time it's been used."

"Amazing..." Jacob complimented. Glad he had finally told her the truth.

Rebecca nodded and smiled, "Yeah, I'm gla-" She stopped mid sentence. They had entered the clearing. It was in rubble. The treehouses were torn apart and no one was around. Rebecca started to painick. She yelled into her comms but no one answered.

Jacob tried his comm unit. No answer. He cursed and brought out his gun.

Rebecca grabbed his hand that had the gun in it and pushed it down softly, "Calm down... I'm sure they are fine. No one is here. We should just see if there are any clues to anyone who might have taken them or made them leave."
