Sagepaw barely noticed when Robinfur left to see to Snakefoot. "Hey Robinfur, what do you think Lock's name will-" She whispered, turning and seeing he wasn't there. "Robinfur?" She mewed softly. Suddenly, she caught the scent of blood. With her spotted fur on end, she lashed her tail with anxiety and looked over the clan for the source. When she spotted Snakefoot and Robinfur, she hurried over. "What happened?" She whispered to Snakefoot.

Snakefoot whirled around, not really knowing what to say. "I want to hear the announcement. Is it possible to hear from the medicine den?" She asked, her tone becoming less rude as she went on. Amiably, she gave a grin, as if acting innocent to hide something she had done.

[Sorry I haven't been on lately- homework... soccer... volleyball]

Eaglefeather stepped onto the Highledge, beaming proudly as he glanced from Fallenstar to Lock. I wander what Lock's apprentince name will be... he thought, curiously facing the Clan and seeing the familiar faces of ThunderClan and the strange faces of ShadowClan.

Sagepaw thought for a moment. "You can hear if you stay near the front of the den." She meowed, glancing at the highledge. Her excitment at the nameing of a new apprentice was tempered only slightly by the injured cat.

(WAH X| Where is Blue?...I'll just carry on without him, I geuss...)

Fallenstar cleared her throat. "Lock, from this day untill you have earned your Warrior name, you will be known as Otterpaw. Now that you are a loyal part of ThunderClan, your duty will be to learn everything your mentor knows and use it to defend and strengthen your Clan. Welcome to the wild." she made a slight dip of the head to both toms, and dismissed them with a flick of the tail. "Thats not all I wanted to annouce." she meowed, after the chanting mews from the rest of the Clan died down.

Robinfur nodded. "That sounds like a fine idea. One of the warriors can tell us what we miss." he murmered, and led Snakefoot and Sagepaw to the medicine den. "She'll need Marigold first. Can you get some for me?" he asked the speckled apprentice before Snakefoot found a comfortable position in one of the nests.

Sagepaw nodded and padded over to the store of herbs in the den. She took a mouthful of leaves and brought them to Robinfur. "So what happened to you anyway?" She asked Snakefoot. She hadn't answered her before and the cuiousity was eating Sagepaw alive.
"Did your patrol meet something vicious?"

"An eagle," Snakefoot replied, shaking her head. "It didn't see the others and attacked me, thinking I was alone. Do you think the scars are deep? I can't really feel the difference..."

Sagepaw's green gaze traveled over Snakefoot's torn pelt. "An eagle! Wow. Some of the cuts are deep, but most of them will probably heal just fine." She shook her head.
"You should be glad you got away! Have you ever heard the stories of eagles dragging off warriors?" She shivered. "I can't imagine!"

Snakefoot's eyes widened. "I can't remember a lot, but there was Owlstar, a long time ago, who followed the owls... but that's all I can remember. Nothing to do with eagles." The she-cat lay down as well as she could so that the medicine cat had enough room to heal.

JuniperLeaf watched the clan from the shadows beneath the highledge.

Robinfur's amber gaze grew darker as he pressed a cotton gob onto each gash. "Before you were born, we had an Eagle problem in the old territory." he looked over at Sagepaw. "You must have been only an apprentice back then, Snakefoot. One season we lost two kits and got a crippled warrior because there were so many." he murmered, between chewing the marigold now.

Fallenstar continued, her foggy green gaze trailing to the medicine den. "As many of you have noticed, we have found 3 more ShadowClan warriors." she meowed, waving her tail to the group of ShadowClaners, standing tall and throwing glances at the ThunderClan cats. We need to get used to their presence, and so when we find more, there will be no fighting among Clans." she mewed. "Pantherclaw, Sunfeather, Whitestorm and Nightmask will be staying in the warriors den untill more of their Clan is retrieved." the grey tabby leader turned her attention to Pantherclaw. "Your cats will be expected to pay their stay here, by going on the dawn patrols and hunting for the elders." Fallenstar flicked her ears.

Juniperleaf growled low so no one could hear it as FallenStar said that the ShadowClan's would stay in their Warrior den. He sat stiff and tall.

MistyRain let out a hiss, much louder than her brother's growl, for the same reason.

FrostKit and EclipsePaw both sat wide-eyed with big smiles. "Yah! The warriors get to stay and I hope I get to help look for the others!" Eclipse whispered excitedly to FrostKit.

Pantherclaw tilted his head at an eerie angle. "Thats fine with me, Fallenstar." he dipped his head, stiffly flexng his claws. When he rose again, all eyes were on him, and with a flick of his tail he summoned the rest of the ShadowClan group to follow to the warriors den.

Fallenstar made a face. "Well, that all, I suppose." she leapt off the high ledge to grab a meal from the fresh kill pile. The sun was low in the sky now, the only light coming very, very dimly from a street light far off by the thunderpath.

Sagepaw flicked her ears. "If I met an eagle, I'd claw its feathers off!" She mewed, swiping a paw in the air and hissing. "It wouldn't dare mess with me ever again!" She laughed.

Robinfur grunted in a humorous way, and took the marigold from the pile Sagepaw had pulled over. The fluffy medicine cat began chewing and mixing the leaves, and his attention was brought to the the ShadowClan cats stalking past the den. They were murmering, the new ones looking a bit nervous as the ymade their way to the warrior's den.

Minnowpool yawned, and padded across the clearing. She poked her head past the ferns of the Medicine den. "Lock's new name is Otterpaw, by the way." she mewed friendily, but her yellow gaze was brought to Snakefoot. She pulled out of the bush and bounded around it, fur on end. "What happened to you?!" her expression was shocked as she stood stiffly next to Sagepaw.

Sagepaw turned her ears towards Minnowpool but didn't look at her. "She was attacked by an eagle." She mewed as she watched Robinfur take care of Snakefoot's wounds. "Lock's name is Otterpaw? Interesting." She mewed, mostly to herself.

When Robinfur finished dabbing the dark green mixture onto her shoulders, he glanced over at Sagepaw. "Can you give her some poppy seeds while I talk to Minnowpool?" he asked her, flicking his tail to the small pile of minuscule seeds.
He turned to the queen, "Otterpaw, eh? I suppose it makes sense, though I've only seen one otter in my whole life..." he pondered, looking out at the younge tom in the clearing. "What else did Fallenstar say?"

Minnowpool blinked. "Somthing about ShadowClan. I believe they're staying in the warriors den, now, but may StarClan give them the best of luck. I don't think some of the warriors will stand for it, mind you. Though I would'nt mind a ShadowClan queen companion, somtime." she went on, staring blankly at the medicine cat, her mind in the abiss again.

Sagepaw stood and padded lightly over to the tiny pile of seeds. She kept her ears angled towards Robinfur and Minnowpool so she could hear what they were saying while she took care of the seeds. Gently placing a few seeds on a leaf in front of Snakefoot, she meowed, "Here, these will keep your wounds from hurting to much."

((*gasp* I'm making a new cat.))

If anyone wants to make any more ShadowClan cats, feel free. except the meddie and leader ^^. Please, though, if anyone makes a kit, don't make a bunch. We can't expect a bunch of kits to survive alone in the wild like that XD)

Snakefoot nodded amiably. "Thanks." She lapped up the seeds and lay down, wanting just to sleep.

(And....LEBLAM. It's night. Anyone still awake, remember that we have patrols tomorrow morning! Hunting, border, AND ShadowClan scouters! ^.~)
