Branchstripe looked around camp from his little spot where he was laying boredly. He sighed, having nothing really to do. He spotted Rosefrost, and jumped up. "Hey Rosefrost!" Branchstripe said, deperately wanting to talk/

Branchstripe noticed the confused face, and then relized he had never really talked much to Rosefrost. "Hi.. Are you doing anything?" He meowed, paws iching to go somewhere, do something.

"Oh, that would be great, thanks." Branchstripe said, perking up.

Branchstripe followed, smiling as his paws touched the forest ground. He sniffed the air quietly.

"Start over?" mewed Nightmask, taken aback. "I think we should just keep on from where we are now..." he purred, licking her ear.

Snakefoot heard a few others talking about hunting. She padded over and asked, "Mind if I join in so we have a patrol?"

[Dawnfrost- You're talking to Rosefrost and Branchstripe right?]

Rosefrost turned around, embarassed that she hadn't noticed Snakefoot before. "Um... er... of course," she managed to say. Getting a hold of her thoughts, she also added, "That would be great." A patrol for once...

Branchstripe looked at Snakefoot, now noticing her. "A patrol.. Cool." Branchstripe said, it was like the first patrol in forever.

Eaglefeather was speechles at first. I have to figure out something to say... he thought, not wanting to look foolish by his lack of words for the leader. "I..." Eaglefeather began in the same quiet tone that Fallenstar had used, but thought of something else and changed what he was going to say. "That would be great. Lock seems like a wonderful cat- willing to learn. I would be honored to be his mentor." The jet-black tom cast a quick glance at Lock, then looked back at Fallenstar, waiting for her response.

"Good, Good. We''ll start his seromony at sun-down." Fallenstar dipped her head, pleased. She glanced over at Lock, but she could'nt hide the smile. Then she turned back to Eaglefeather, and gave him a dissmisal with a flick of her tail. The ash-tabby leader padded swiftly over to Robinfur, who invited her with a brief lick to the forehead. "Do you think we need another den for ShadowClan? I'm not sure how some of the warriors will handle a bunch of ShadowClan cats in their nests." she mewed to the fluffy tom, lying next to him. Her eyes were drawn to a few cats in particular.

(Come back soon, though, you guys. Later I have to announce to the newbie ShadowClaners, and I have to make Lock an apprentice! ^^)
(And Fallenstar or Juniper can make more patrols if anyone is interested. But they would have to be hunting ones. Border patrols are done for the day, and they found 3 new shadowclaners in one day! HUZZAH! xD)

Lock tore his gaze away from the forest after Fallenstar had walked over to Robinfur, and bounded over to Eaglefeather. "So I'm going to be made an apprentice? And you're going to be my mentor?" he asked, practically bouncing. His eyes shone with pride.

"All right. I'll try not to make too much noise." Snakefoot grinned amiably, following. She scented the air quickly, whispering afterwards, "I smell... rabbit. I like hunting those. A good challenge." She swished her tail quickly with pleasure, amber snake-eyes shining with excitement. Her whiskers twitched as she tried to pick up more of the scent.

((Can someone tell me what Adderfang is supposed to be doing?))

"Wait for me!" Adderfang bounded after the patrol.

Branchstripe spun around, and saw Adderfang. Warriors popping up all over the place! Finally, something exciting.

(eh, Holly, I think i'll take my charries out of this. Too much chainposts. Sorry. There isn't anyway I could join the plot here.)

"Am I needed for anything?" Branchstripe looked surprised, so Adderfang tilted his head. "I was just thinking I'd go on the patrol. More prey that way."

Branchstripe nodded. "Yeah, thats fine." He said.

"It's hard to have too many warriors on a patrol." Snakefoot grinned, welcoming Adderfang with a nod. "Let's get hunting." She shifted her paws excitedly.

"Good idea. Which way should we go first?" Adderfang flicked his tail.
