" Amberpaw is sick!" Wolfheart mewoed.

Lionstar was stunned. "W-What?!?"

" Amberpaw, she was fine and we were hunting. Then she pounced on me and was suddenly tired." Wolfheart flicked his tail at a collasped Amberpaw.

Branchpaw padded over by Amberpaw and looked at her. How had she gotten sick? He breathed slowly, it wasn't leaf-bare, so it couldn't be green cough..

Liostar was thinking. "Do you think some prey she hate, ate a something...deadly?" He asked.

Wolfheart's eyes were wide. " Its possiable.." Wolfheart said.

" Well, if it was prey that was deadly she ate, it can't spread unless someone else eats another deadly prey, right?" Branchpaw said.

Lionstar nodded.

Sparkleheart sorted out some of the berries in her den.

(Sorry I have not been posting!)

Branchpaw nodded. " I wouldn't eat any prey, until we find out if all the prey are deadly, or only some.."

Wolfheart looked at his apprentice, sadly. He rushed over to Sparkleheart.

"Branchpaw, go get Sparkleheart." He instructed.

Sparkleheart looked up as Wolfheart came into her den, looking anxious. "Are you well, Wolfheart?" She asked. "Do you need something for shock?"

Branchpaw didn't want to leave Amberpaw's side, but he nodded. " Sparkleheart! Amberpaw is sick!" he meowed when he reached her, answering for Wolfheart,

Lionstar watched his daughter.

Amberpaw yawned and panted.

Sparklehear shot up. "What happened? Is she cold? How is her breathing?" She was gathering all the necessary herbs i her jaws as she was talking.

" She ate something, maybe something deadly." Branchpaw said. " Her breathing is a bit shallow I think.." Branchpaw led her over to Amberpaw.

Lionstar padded over to Amberpaws side.

Amberpaw lay there panting for air, tired, worn out, scared. She couldn't think.

Branchpaw sat down next to Amberpaw, she couldn't die, just couldn't. He liked her, alot.

Sparkleheart put her ear by Autumpaw's mouth. The breathing was shallow. Using her paw, she pried open her jaws. "Something's stuck." She said after seeing some bit of prey left in her mouth. But it wasn't just prey. There was something metal inside the prey. "Someone who has a small paw needs to reach in a get it out."

Wolfheart turned to Branchpaw.

Branchpaw forced his paw to stop trembling and reached inside. He pulled out a bit of prey, and then a metal thing popped out,.

Lionstar stared. "What is that?" He asked.

Amberpaw let out a gasp of air. "Wh-Wh." She sputtered.

Branchpaw dropped the metal and bit of prey. " Are you okay?" Branchpaw asked, concerned. He was just happy that she was alive..

Sparklehear looked at Autumpaw's stomach. The breaths were coming out even. "Someone bury that thing. It might be some twoleg thing."

Amberpaw nodded weakly. Her legs were weak. She tried standing up but failed.

Wolfheart picked it up and near the entrabce, buried it deep.

Branchpaw looked at Amberpaw, eyes bright. " Good".. He said.

Sparkleheart stepped over to Autumpaw. "Take it easy." She murmured in a comforting tone. "You may need to be in my den for a couple of days, just to make sure there isn't anything else."

Amberpaw stumbled up.

Lionstar sighed in releif.
