Shadowstar smiled, "Now we should sleep." She curled her tail around her and put her head next to Robinstar's.

Robinstar fell asleep slowly trying to stay awake and make sure his kits were ok.

Smallkit slept soundly.

Shadowstar woke up the next morning with a small yawn. She peered out of the Den and watched the Autumn leaves fall from the dieing trees.

Smallkit awoke and layed next to Shadowstar for a moment, before sitting up straight.

Robinstar yawned awake and noticed Shadowstar was missing. He got up and padded out to her.

Smallkit looked around the nursery, this was different then the home he was used to, the people he was used to.

Shadowstar gazed up at the trees as the golden, crimson, and orange leaves fell.

Smallkit padded out to Shadowstar, boardly. He looked at the leaves falling and tried to pounce at one, but rolled and fell.

Robinstar laughed and started to try to play with Smallkit by helping him catch leaves and puncing on them with him every once in awhile.

Smallkit giggled and pounced on a leaf, not falling this time.

"Good job!" Robinstar praised his new daughter

Smallkit smiled, and dropped the leaf. He tried to pounce on it again but the wind blew it away.

Shadowstar smiled and caught a golden leaf with one of her claws. It was completly different than the Cat's fur as she studied it.

Smallkit sat and watched the colored leaves fall.

Shadowstar flicked the leaf off her claw and swatted Smallkit's nose softly, in a playing motion.

Smallkit smiled and pounced on the golden leaf. He held it in his jaws carefully. " Ta da." He said, voice muffled.

Shadowst ar smiled and mewed, "Goodjob Smallkit, I was wondering if you would like to stay here and become a part of our family..."

Smallkit looked at her.. Family? He'd never had a family, and he didn't think his parents were coming back. " Okay. I will."

Shadowstar smiled, "Welcome Smallkit." She licked the kit's nose and them there was a small black star above his nose.

Smallkir smiled, and tried to look, cross eyed at the star. With no sucsess, he gave up.

Shadowstar laughed, "You're parents had mouse-brains if they gave you up." She pulled him into a hug and licked his forehead.

Smallkit purred. " Maybe they got lost, or something like that.." He thought. He was happy here, with his family.

Shadowstar smiled, "I'm sure they did..." She didn't want to tell the poor kit about the two cats that had gone missing a while back.

Smallkit purred again. " I like it here better theb my old home, it was a cave like thing and it was wet alot.." Smallkit said.
