Undiol (Valia)~Book 2: Elven Royalty

"Alright, so, what do you want to do?" Eamon asked Runa. He was never the biggest planner in Valia.

"Um..." Runa started completely and utterly perplexed. "I don't really want a big wedding, maybe just a small one outside under the big maple tree."

"That'll help my brain from processing a million things," Eamon joked, smiling. Maple trees... sound's nice... He thought.

Runa smiled back and then sighed, "How about just something really simple.... I don't have any relatives or family so it could just be painfully simple."

"I don't have any family ever. Just in the castle since I can remember. But it doesn't have to be painful," Eamon remarked. He lied back on the floor, trying to remember his parents.

Runa shook her head, "Not that kind of painful." She smiled reasurringly.

"Then what 'painful' are you talking about?" Eamon asked, confused.

Runa shook her head and sighed again, "Nevermind Eamon. I'm going to go for a walk or something..." She trailed off and got up from the bed walking out on her balcony and dropping down from the top.

Eamon stared blankly. "Huh, I wonder what she meant..." He said, trailing off. He had forgotten that he was tired and drifted into a light sleep on the floor.

Runa stopped right under the balcony and sighed a silent tear rolled down her eye.

Eamon was having a dream. In the dream, he was in a graveyard. He passed by the tombstones till he saw a giant maple tree, almost colliding into it. He saw a heart on the tree. It carved "E.C & R.C" inside the heart. In a flash he was in the same spot, only the tree was cut down, the piece of bark the heart was on broken. He woke up instantly after that.

Runa drifted back towards her house after some time. She walked in and sat down on her bed wiping her eyes until Eamon woke up. She smiled half-heartedly and turned to look out her window.

Eamon stood up and walked over to Runa. "I'm so sorry about that... I just want to make you happy, but I didn't mean for you to cry," Eamon explained, not wanting his instincts to take over.

Runa shook her head, "No it wasn't you, I just remebered my parents..."

"Becuase of me... What was the pain you were talking about?" Eamon asked sadly. He never liked talking about relatives anymore. He hardly remembers them at all.

"JUst nevermind about anything, I'll talk to you tomorrow. I'm going to bed." Runa said shaking her head sadly.

"Alright, I'll see you tommorow, Runa," Eamon whispered, and jumped out of the treehouse.

((where exactly do I sleep again? lolz))

(IDK... A tree house too? Cabin? Home?)

Runa nodded and changed into her Pajama's sighing and silently sobbing herself to sleep.

((No home, a cabin? Maybe I'll hitch a home with Jake! XD))

Runa sleept in pain, nightmare's clouding her mind.

Eamon walked over to Jake's house, wondering if he might've wanting to talk.

Jake sighed and looked down at his sketch-book, openng to a new page. He started to sketch Antionette.

Eamon knocked on Jake's door, hoping he would answer.

Suprised, he quickly closed his notyebook. "Ugh... Hello??"

Eamon opened the door and walked into Jake's house. "Hey, Jake. Is, uh, this a bad time?" He asked.
