"Esme!" called Glasstar. No answer. She headed back to the den. "Blade?" She barked.

Esme went to her mother "wes, wommy" she said

Blade stirred from his sleep, he heard his mate calling. "What is it?" He said gruffly.

"Nothing anymore... sleepyhead." She teased. "Why are you always tired these days?"

"I don't know I guess I'm just lazy," Blade said getting up and walking over to his mate.

"I see that!" She laughed. She nuzzled him.

"Wommy....I hungwy.." she smiled "wor Wilky.." she said

"Try talking better." Said Glasstar and walked away with Esme. "Calm Down." She said and layed down.

""mommy! I want milky!" She said, pouting

"O.k!" She batted her pup to teach her not to yell. "No whining Esme." She told her pup and laied down quietly with Esme cuddle beside her.

I started to cry and got yummy milk in my mouth

"Esme why are you crying?" She calmed her pup.

"Wou watted we!" she said, still crying

I looked at her with my face scrunched up making a silly mad face

glasstar glared at her child. "Don't make mean faces at mommy." She said. But then laughed. "You do look silly, Esme."

I undid my face and continuued to eat

Glasstar put her head down and waited for Esme to finish.

Blade padded to the back of the cave to think. Why was he so lazy? "Oh Well" he thought, "I'll just go out on Patrol." Blade Sprinted a circle around his territory, but everything was where it was supposed to be.

Esme I fell asleep still drinking

Midnight stirred in his sleep, and then lay still, never to move again. "Hello?" He called, terrified, he felt so alone, more so than ever before. Midnight had just joined Sunstar pack when he was only 3 weeks old.
