Lacy padded around her empty cave. Through her acute hearing she heard a mouse skittering somewhere in the darkness. Instead of pouncing on it she simply growled, and then layed down.

Spark raised his head, feeling confident, but hearing the loud thunder's bang flinched a bit. "Do we just stay in camp?" asked Spark warily. Suddenly a strange tingling sensation grew in the pit of his stomach. "The lightning..." He thought. "I've felt lightning storms and even a hurricane before... this one isn't the same...." Spark glanced at Recluse. "This feels... different than other hurricanes I've been in..." He felt a strange feeling every time the huge blast of electricits punched a hole in the sky. "What's special... about this one?"

Shayde flew over the forest canopy, her pitch black wings glided through a drift.

Spark looked in the sky to see a black wold overhead. He barked loudly, trying to get it's attention. "Mouse-brain!" he thought. "Who'd fly in a hurricane?"

Shayde soared down, landing in the treetops. She smirked at the male, and leapt across the tree branches.

"Are you crazy?!" he screamed over the pouring rain. He saw a kind of sarcastic smile cross the oher wolf's snout. "Let him die, then..." Spark mumbled, padding away.

)*cough* Shayde's a girl...(

"No, just brave. You seem skiddish." Shayde laughed.

Spark stopped in his tracks. He whirled around to meet the wolf who had confronted him. "Being brave doesn't mean not valueing (sp?) your life," he joked. He didn't want to put up a front between any wolf and him; Spark wanted no enemies.

Shayde faded in the wind.
