DewClan, MistClan, and (NEW) ShadeClan~ Part One: The Hunt Is On

Hawkfrost pulled up a fish from the river. She happily tore into the juicy fish, while hearing very clearly a conversation across the river. I can't hear what exactly they're saying, but three cats are talking. That tom is conversating with two females- what is he doing?? Hawkfrost thought aloud.

River turned to see Mistyrain awake. He wanted to make sure she was okay, but she didn't want to anger her. Looking at Featherstar, he muttered, "I'm going to figure out what it means." Then he looked at Misty. Hatred glared in her eyes, only reflecting pain in his. Darting out of the den, he ran into the woods. He didn't know where he was aiming to go, nor did River know why. He just ran. Slowing down, he skidded to a stop by a river. He jumped onto a rock in the middle and watched the rapids move gently over the sides.

Hawkfrost lapped up water from the river gently on Mistclan's bank. She breathed in the wonderful Mist of the river.

MistyRain stared after him, and the hatred because of FeatherStar, turned to pain and hurt because of River. She soon burst in tears. "Oh, FeatherStar! What am I going to do? I need to follow him!" she cried and raced after him.

Hawkfrost looked up to see the tom. "Oh, I-I didn't think you'd be here." she mewed.

MistyRain soon showed up after River. "River, sorry, I shouldn't of acted that way! I still love you, but do you honestly stilllove me?" she asked, crying and not seeing HawkFrost.

Featherstar shook her head. "Mistyrain will find someone. Maybe not soon, but it can't possibly be River," she muttered to herself.

River looked over at the she-cat he saw in the forest. He opened his mouth to reply, when Mistyrain came in. He turned around and padded over to her. Looking deep into her eyes, he said in a low voice, so the other cat couldn't hear, "Misty, of corse I still love you. I'm just not ready to be mates. There are still many of things to do before that. But," He leaned closer to whisper in her ear, "I promise, no matter what, I will be yours one day." River leaned away and said, "Now I should probably go reply o the other cat so she doesn't think I ditched her."

MistyRain's eyes filled with tears, but they were happy tears. She nuzzled him, "And I will be waiting my whole life for that day to come!No matter what, I will never forget you." she smiled. "Oh, and there's a cat over there? OK, go let's talk to her!" she smiled and looked over to HawkFrost. Misty slowly walked to the side of the river.

River smiled and walked back onto the large rock. "I believe we met before? Forest? I'm River. And you?"

MistyRain followed River to the rock. "We've met, too. I am MistyRain!" she smiled at HawkFrost, but glared slightly,she still found trouble in that cat!

River's tail tip twitched. This cat was amazingly beautiful. He could sense that she had a good personality, strongly alike to Mistyrain. Was StarClan referring to her in the phrophecy?

MistyRain turned to River and noticed his stare at the cat across the lake. It was how he stared at her. "Hmmph!" she mumbled and jumped off the rock, stalking deepinto the forest.

River dipped his head to the she-cat. "I better go. I'll see you at the next gathering then?" He called before he turned and followed Mistyrain. Wonder why she didn't talk.... he thought to himself. "Misty!" He yowled as he caught up with her. Catching his breath, River wondered something. "Mistyrain, if we are both running for deputy, then what will happen if one of us wins?"

MistyRain ignored him and kept walking away, into the forest.She was very annoyed, the second after he tells her he loves her, he goes and stares the 'love stare' at another wolf!

River sighed. I should tell her....
No! Do you KNOW what she would say?!
But maybe she would understand....
It's Misty!
But she cares, she knows that I will always be hers.
That is true. Go. Break her heart. Then come back and hope she remembers!
But...
His minds fought back and forth. "Misty, there's something I should tell you..." River blurted out before he could think of what he said.

"What?" She asked, a bit annoyedly as she turned around. "What do you want?"

River's eyes were full of hurt at her tone. " 'Love, though forbidden, can be found beyond home, but will always come back home.' Misty," River's voice began to crack as tears filled up in his eyes, "StarClan have assured me, I will be yours, no matter what. If I look interested, or some how fall in love with another cat, you need to know, my heart is yours, unless you don't want it." A tear fell down his face, and he quickly wiped it away with his paw.

"I want it, but I don't know if I can have it. I don't care if you say how I will always be yours, but what if you love her more than me? What if you want her more,I know that you'll go after her!" MistyRain turned away and tears rolled down her cheek. "Great... Heart break twice in one day..." she murmered.

River thought over this. "Because I can't be with her. 'though forbidden' it means she must be from another clan. I couldn't possibly be with her. If I don't fall in love with another cat in the next moon, I will be your mate." River turned his head and let the tears stream down his face. "I can understand if you don't care and will never talk to me again. See you." His voice failed on the last word and he dashed away. He ran and ran and ran. River realized his eyes were closed. Opening them, he found a tree ahead of him. Darting up it, he climbed up to the top brach, where he found that he could see the whole territory, but no one could see him. River let the tears fall and he yowled into the sky.

MistyRain followed him, sobbing. She didn't see him, but she found him because tears were falling her. She stared up at him. "I'm heartbroken, but if you fall in love with someone else, I can't stop you and I wont accept you to be my mate... I can't do that to someone... But if you don't, I love you..." she whispered so he could hear.

(Don't worry, she will still be his mate if he loves Hawk. And I am crying, this is like a SUPER sad soap opera, one where you get so attached to the characters, than something so sad happens!)

(OK, Misty and River were talking to Hawk and River stared at Hawk with love in his eyes and Misty got mad and River left and followed her. They got into this huge fight thing about love and stuff!)

Hawkfrost stared abruptly across the river, stunned at the sight. Alright- Clawpaw- I admit that was cruel. MistyRain is waay to harsh on River. She should just accept that he 'likes' me- as the kits say, and let him go... she responded. Whoa- WAY TO START A CAT FIGHT! Clawpaw answered.
