Splashstar looked out at the fresh-kill pile. She was out of her den.

Vinepelt woke up and cleaned his fur. then he remembered that he was to lead the hunting patrol. "Treeflight come on. The hunting patrol."

Woodkit padded out to see Splashstar. He walked over to her. "Hi Splashstar."

Splashstar smiled. "Hello Woodkit."

Clayheart had let her kit go see Her best friend Slashstar.


Springpool woke up and sat up.

Clearclaw walked out of the warrior den.

Camowish walked with Clearclaw.

Twigpaw Layed in his nest.

Felix was a kittypet. He sat on his bad.

Silver curled up tightly in her den.

Treeflight sighed and followed Vinepelt.

Embertail followed his sister.

Night watched the camp.

Vinepelt walked out of the camp with Treeflight and Embertail to go hunting.

Treeflight ran into the trees, crouching at the sight of mouse.

Vinepelt Saw a black bird and started to stalk it.

Treeflight jumped, but slid and tumbled down a steep slope into a pond, surprised. The mouse had tricked her!

Vinepelt jumped on the bird and sliced its neck with his claws. looking up as Treeflight fell. He troted over to her with the bird in his mouth. "you ok Treeflight?"

Treeflight's head came up, her ears sticking out to the side, her fur sticking up as if she were punk cat, and a rotting leaf covered her head. A frog humped away from her. Water dripped from her. "Sure." she coughed up water.

"Come on." Vinepelt put his tail down to help her up.

Treeflight got up and followed him, fur sticking up in all directions.

Vinepelt smiled and picked up his bird.

Treeflight felt her heart flutter. She walked down the river and crouched, eyes seeing a bird.

Vinepelt saw the bird too but didn't move To let Treeflight get it.

Treeflight lunged, kkilling the bird.

Vinepelt walked by Treeflight. His tail brushing her side. he put his bird down and scraped dirt over it.
