Agent Powers 4 () Be Free () [PRP for Me and Branch!]

Lauren turned. "Would you believe me if I told you I'm a secret agent that has magic powers and really, really, REALLY hates a boy named Mitchell?"

Of course he could, but good thing Jacob was a wonderful actor. He faked confusion and awe. "W-what?" He stuttered. "Is this some kind of joke?"

Lauren frowned. "Your faking." She said flatly. "Did you... know?" She said. "I can tell if you are."

Crud. That was the only thing on Jacob's mind. He was completely, and totally dead silent.

Lauren frowned. She heard one thing in his mind that made her complete, and tottaly white. She collasped.

Jacob froze for a split second, nearly panicking. He bent down and picked her up, and set her down on the couch. "Mitchell's gonna kill me.." He muttered under his breath before Lauren awoke, not audible to anyone but himself.

Lauren blinked and shifted.

"Are you okay?" Jacob asked, in his panicked state his accent came through completely.

Lauren mumbled "I'm fine Mr. British." She grumbled. "Happens a lot." She admitted.

Jacob rolled his eyes at her. "I can see that, by the way you're handling it," He said dismissively. "Maybe I should go," He said, just wanting to escape. He had slipped up, which wasn't good at all.

Laure sighed. "Fine." She mumbled, in her accent and walked up to her room and shut her door. Who had told Jacob? Even worse, what was he hiding from her? Lauren frowned and stared at her pale reflection in teh mirrior.

Jacob nodded, and shut the door quietly behind him. He had walked only a few steps from her house when he nearly collapsed in relief. Jacob Warks was not usually the slip up, that was Mitchell's job. Even worse then the fact that he had slipped up was the fact that Lauren knew he was hiding something.

Lauren sighed.

Jacob hurried home, and crinkled his nose as he went over past events. He was thinking of what to do if Mitchell asked about it. Hmm.. He decided not to tell them at all.

Lauren lugge her stuff to school and opened her locker.

Anna was there before Lauren, shoving all her stuff in her locker quickly. "See you after class." Anna said, and hurried off to her own.
Jay had gotten a new notebook, and taped the old pages into his new one. He sighed at the scrappiness of it, and walked, no sulked, off to class.
Jacob came down the hallway, stopping by Lauren, and smiling. As if the day before had never happened.

Lauren turned and saw Jacob. "Uh, Hi." She said.

"Hi," He said, flashing her a pearly white smile. His goal was to completely forget about the day before. He started walking her down to class.

Lauren shifted but followed Jacob. When he wasn't looking, she made herself invisible.

Jacob was almost down the hallway, and almost to class when he looked behind him and didn't see Lauren. She turned invisable, Was his first thought and wanted to kick himself as soon as he thought it. She could read minds.

Lauren blinked. Who. told. him. She thought and started to put the clues together. Her finally answer was horrifing. "He can't!" She whispered.

Jacob's eyes widened when he heard her slight whisper, barely catching it. He froze. "Lauren, that's not true!" She wasn't the only one who could read minds.

Lauren frowned. "Is t Jacob? You already lied to me! She said, starting to get mad.

Jacob frowned angrily. "No, no it's not true. I didn't lie.. Exactly."

Lauren growled. "Exactly" She quoted. "So why don't you go make Mitchell happy by telling him that I hate you." She growled and stormed away.
