This is another RPC story. Heh. No sgents or anything. No worries. But, let me tell you who's who, just in case.

Power of Five


Chapter One

I stalked after my mom. I was slacking behind her, not bothering to keep up to her pace. My name is Lauren, and my mother is sending me off to The Harvord Boarding school for Teens. In Arizona. This is Iowa. I was mad, because who would want to leave there best buddies behind, and move off to this over-heated state? Not me. I sighe and grabbed my suitcase, stuffed with clothes from my mom. I gaze around, and see 4 other teens, about my age, on their laptops. THey aren't clumped together, except two boys. I plop myself into a chair and log onto my favorite website, RPC. I don't bother logging into the chat-box, so I browse around, then log off. I just stare at a girl infront of me until they called my plane. I hugged my bother good-bye, and boarded the plane. I took my assigned seat next to a girl with long, wavy brown hair and bright brown eyes. She almost looks like me. She glances over at me when I sit down, then returns to typing. I feel the need to spy on what she's doing, so I silently force my eyes to look at her screen. I blinked. And I blinked again. The plane started to lift off, and I gulped. I stared at the screen some more, until I nearly choked. The screen was the all to familar RPC screen, and it was Branch who was logged in. The girl glanced at me again. I managed a smile. "Uh, Hi... Branch." I whispered. Everything in life seemed to freeze. I had tears in my eyes. The girl just shrugged. I shook my head. "Look. Guess who I am. You've known me for what, 1 year?" I said. The girl kept typing. "It's V-V-V-ixen." I stuttered. That made Branch freeze. She bit her lip, and before you could wink, we were laughing like we had a overload of pixie sticks. I had finally met my forever friend. Then I stopped. So.. Annabelle, I guess this is it?" I said, as the plane started to land. An hour had been like 5 minutes. She shrugged. "Eh. I guess. My mom sent me to this weird school, Harvord Boarding Schoo, thing." She grumbled. I grinned. "Same! Cool!" I said cheerfully. We hugged, and were escorted out of the plane. I then heard a running sound behind us. I turned, and the two boys were streaming down the hall like sugar freaks, and bumped into us. I nearly shoved the taller one. "Hey!" He said, and glared at me. I had to bite my lip from laughing. I looked up a teh boy. "Geez. What's with the running?" I grumbled, annoyed. Anna nodded. The guy just shrugged. "Me and Noah were racing to see who could win this race we challenged each other on this RPC site. but you wouldn't ca-" He was cut off by Anna. "Socko?" She said, and I shoved my elbow into her ribs. But the boy had already raised his eyebrows. "waita minute. Branch?" He said, pointing at Anna. I manage a grin, and wave. "Hey, Sock Monster." I say, and he looks at me. "Leaf?" I nod quietly. "THis is just weird. Let me guess. Your going off to Harvord Boarding school because your mom made you... and all that." I sighed. He nodded, then called his head over. The boy came jogging over. He looked pretyy identitical to Socky, or Dan. I smile. "Girls, meet Otter." Dan annouces. I grinned at him. "Welcome to the world of insanity, boys." I say teasingly, and we start to run, because a grumpy guard was yelling. I gave Anna a high-five. We exite dthe airport, with a girl trailing behind us. I looked behind my sholder, and the girl looked like she was grinning weirdly. I poke Anna and motion for her to look. The girl notices us and snaps her eyes awa, but we were already on her case. "How are you?" Noah demanded. I chuckle at his question. The girl shrugged. "Coraline. Or Cora." She said. I blinked. "Why were you following us?" Was Dan's question, but I'm guessing Anna knew, because in a second, my friends arms were hugging Cora. "Alley! I can't belive it!" She said. The girl's eyes were wide. "What in the world..." She muttered, and I started to explain. Geez. What a day. I grin, and we all head over to the towering school ahead.
