StormFlock-A Raptor RP (Semi-Elite)

:cheers: First of all, I would like to thank Sparkle for making this section! I am so excited!

This does NOT have anything to do with OWLS. Just daytime birds of prey, for now.

If you would like to join, please fill out the form:

Name:(Mine is Jaywing)
Gender:(Male)
Species:(Golden Eagle, Aquila crys..something.)
Personality:(Tough but kind and merciful.) PLEASE don't put something vague like, "Will unfold."
Position:(Leader male) The positions are the same as Warriors, except there is another leader.
Other: DO NOT put, "Wants mate."

Rules:
~No godmoddling (making your character too all-powerful)
~Use corect grammar and spelling, to your limit. (If you don't use it well enough, I warn you.)
~Be nice, and if your character might be about to say something YOU YOURSELF don't mean, just post in chatspeak that your charrie is going to be mean.
~Have fun! (To prove you have read the rules, type, *Jaywing rules*)

You can choose to either already be in the flock--let me know in your form--or you can choose to FIND the flock.

And some advice on names: they don't have to be like my charrie's--a sort of compound word name. They can be just regular, incase you were wondering. If you have any more questions, pm me.

Personality: Er... it's hard for me to stick a personality and then do it. So IDK... Brave, Charming...
Position: Deputy
Other: Is Starwing's brother

Name: Starwing
Gender: Female
Species: Er... well she's kind of silverish-brownish... but she's an Eagle.
Personality: A lil' bit of everything, it can change sometimes.
Position: Warrior (Will 'try out' for Lead Female)
Other: Is Blazeheart's sister

JAYWING RULES
Name: Redtail (no pun in Warriors intended ^^)
Gender:Female
Species:Red tailed hawk
Personality: Mostly like squirrelpaw from Warriors. is younge, about one year old, and is rather spontanious. All else is beyond knowledge when it comes to her....^^"
Position: Fresh warrior ( just made warrior,is a bit young for Female leader...but will 'try out')
Other: erm....has a plastic band on right leg/talon area...twolegs installed it when she was very young. Has been in flock since begining ^_^ Also has unusally large, long talons.


Redtail blinked feebly as one of the last raindrops of the evening fell on her beak. she sqawked with anoyyance, flapping one of her power wings in the air. The hawk was sunning herself on the high branches of an empty Willow tree, peering down at the moist,muddy ground.

Redtail hopped down a branch, shaking the remaining drops of water off her wings. her large talons dug into the Wilow branch,scoring unique marks into the tree.
She nodded greetings to an eagle landing on the branch next to hers. "Good morning Jaywing!" she said,watching him fold his wide wings neatly.

"And good morning to you, Redtail," I said politely to the beautiful red-tailed hawk. "Have you had any prey this morning?" I folded my wings, my golden eyes scanning the treetops for smaller birds I could nab on the wing.

Redtail copied Jaywing's sophisticated glance at the far away ground. "No...I have'nt even seen the slightest sign of -" she stopped mid-sentence to skillfully dive off the branch and swoop quickly down at a fat mouse scurrying across a clearing of bushes. "Got it!" she murmered happily as she returned shortly with the vermin, dropping it in a delicat nest of twigs. "Nevermind." she said to the Eagle.

My beak twisted in a smile. "I guess that means I must be going to get my own prey," I launched myself off of the broad branch. Just when it seemed I would fall, I dove dizzyingly and my claws scooped a bank vole, instantly killing it. Proudly I lighted on the limb again, and devoured my prey.

"Nicely done." Redtail remarked, smiling after she had finished her prey too.
she basked herself out again, letting the sun's rays soak into her delicate auburn tinted wings.

"Thank you," I hopped to my large nest, not far from hers, and my lower lid met my upper lid as I contentedly slept.

Redtail watched over the handsome eagle. his sides gently rose and fell. Then she glared down at the dusty earth, keeping gaurd over her leader's tree.

Swiftwing came back to camp. "Hey Redtail," He said.

I slept a great dream, riding the thermals. When I woke, I had a craving for them. "Hey, you two, care to ride the thermals?"

"Why do you ask?" Swiftwing replied.

Redtail swept her tinted wing gracious aside. "Greetings Swiftwing." she cocked her head over to Jaywing. "I'm up for a flight. I have'nt been there in a while..."

I flapped my wings and headed off for the thermal nearby. "Well, then, c'mon! A lazy falcon catches no mouse!" I recited an old raptor phrase.

"Your on!" the red tailed hawk challenged and quickly caught up to Jaywing.
she flapped swiftly up to the lead bird, and gazed out ahead. it felt wonderful, to be able to soar high above the tree tops and glide through the wonderous air curents. Free.

Swiftwing spiriled up into the air, competing against his two friends.

Redtail flew closer up to swift wing and swerved around him. "hiya." she sqauwked before shooting off, in a diving downward position, heading straight for a small lake.
