Brackenshadow gave her a quick admirable glance and then dug his claws into the badgers back.

Fallenstar's tail was high as she padded stealthly through the yards of the twoleg nests. She rested at the foot of the other fence, the one that led to the Thunderpath. Her eyes were tired, and her pelt was feeling ragged, but she was happy that Juniperleaf had come with her on this little exibition. She did'nt know if she could have handled it by herself in that horrible field.

Pantherclaw shook his head when he reached Fallenstar. His head was begining to spin from the journey and the stress of the rest of the day. The black and grey splotched tom bent his head to lick his pad. Leaping the fence next to Fallenstar, he landed painfully on the rough twoleg path on the other side. His gaze traveled up and across the twoleg path. He could see the green grass, the chunk of forest, and even a bit of ThunderClan's river. Jealousy struck him like an enemy in a battle. Juniperleaf's look burned into him again.

While Rosefrost was attacking the underbelly. Brackenshadow took the split second the badger was distracted to attack the neck. He bit down, the dirty blood seeping into his mouth.

The badger swat Brackenshadow away sending him skidding away six fox tails. He blacked out.

Brambleshadow hacked and his eye's opened slowly. "What just happened?" He asked between deep breaths and winces.

[I was just about to ask the same thing]

"The badger... do you remember?" she asked, hoping that he hadn't forgetten everything.

"Yeah..." Brackenshadow said slowly trying to get up but his hind left leg had a searing pain. He let out a yowl.

Brackenshadow nodded and laid back down his sides heaving.

Robinfru returned to camp with his apprentice by his side. "See? It's one of the most pleasent herbs to find, next to the bank. Much better than digging through the forest..." he faded off, trotting through the entrance. He set the watermint down in his den, and shook his fur in relief. "Ahh...time to rest these old paws."

Brackenshadow gulped in pain. His side was bleeding rapidly.

"Thank you." Brackenshadow muttered quietly in pain.

Fallenstar waited for the last, slow and brightly-pelted monster crossed the Thunderpath. "Alright: lets go." she waved her tail and padded across the hot surface. The sun was almost over the horizen when her paws touched the stones over the river. "Just about there." she meowed to Pantherclaw. She could feel Juniperleaf trotting close next to her, as if for protection. Her ashy ears darted back irritably.

Robinfur's eyes lit up. "Come Sagepaw. Bring Poppy seeds." he ordered, and grabbed a package of bundled emergancy herbs himself. Quickly he darted with the cream-colored she-cat back out into the forest. "Where at?" his anxious voice was muffled by the wrapped herbs.

Brambleshadow gulped the pain overwhelming himself.

Brackenshadow purred and quickly lapped up the poppy seeds. His pelt warm with the bit of sunlight shining on it.
