Popular Suggestions

Hey, so I realized that there are a whole bunch of suggestions building up on this board that most users like and are favored but eventually sort of... just lose speed and die. XP It's not that they're bad suggestions, it's just that we all have sort of run out of things to discuss about them and they aren't ever implemented on the site. I think that we should gather some of our favorites up and talk about all of them here breifly and maybe have them added to the site.

Browsing through the threads, I have discovered some suggestions that I particularly liked and thought to put here. Here they are:

• Mythical Roleplay Board
  
• Private Roleplay Board
  
• Forum Games Board
  
• New Sticky Threads (video games, movies/tv shows, books, warrior cats, etc.)
  
• Weekly Polls Suggestion Thread
  

Here's a short description of all of them.

Mythical Roleplay Board
This is a suggestion for a board where we can roleplay with magical humans and stuff, like Harry Potter or something. *does not know*
Private Roleplay Board
If you look around the boards, you'll see a whole bunch of PRPs for a couple of users. Some people think they're great, some think they're not fair; however, all agree that they are scattered around and are clogging up the boards that they are in. People say that they see there's a new post and go to check it out, only to see it's a RP they weren't invited to. With this board, that will be elliminated.
Forum Games Board
Everyone knows and loves the quizzes, games, etc. that are in the Off Topic section. With this board, however, all of these threads would be moved to the Forum Games board, making the Off Topic board more centered around just discussion.
New Sticky Threads
In case you aren't sure what a sticky is, let me explain it: it's basically a thread that stays at the top of the board and doesn't ever really get locked or die. Take the random babble thread for example, in the off topic section. With this suggestion, some popular subjects that are often discussed in several different threads that die and are replaced, like Warriors threads, threads discussing books, video games, or TV shows, and others will have a ever present replacement.
Weekly Poll Suggestion Thread
The weekly poll on the front page/portal hasn't been changed for a lonnnng time. With this suggestion, we could have a thread on the suggestion board where we all suggest ideas for weekly polls, and the admins could select one weekly and put it up.

These are all I could come up with. If you have another idea, post it with a brief desctiption and I'll put it up. Feel free to comment and post, and hopefully, the well-liked ideas will be put into action :D

I agree with the PRP board! And yeah, we do need to break up the 'Other RPs' section. There's maybe 135 threads in there.

I'm going to add the PRP board and the Games section, I think.
Those were great ideas that now finally can be added in!

And I love the idea of a mythical board...but that's just 'cause I love fantasy.

((But not Harry Potter. :x or twilight. *barf* REAL fantasy, like Narnia.))

Heh heh. The Narnia series was awesome! It was what got me through last year's ski trip and the freezing cold.
