Branchthorn rolled her eyes, and flinched when a flash of lightning lit up the sky. She was itching to LEAVE already, not listen to Moonshadow and Mellowstar bicker like kits.

MOonshadow decided to give up on bringing Grasstail back to Mellowclan. Maybe Mellowstar was right; maybe he shouldn't have crushes on hostages. He sulked around camp, thinking and sometimes glancing at Branchthorn. She wasn't a hostage... right?

(Robinheart is a elder. Meadowshire is dead. Smallpaw, Lionpaw, Mellowpaw, and Stormpaw are Smallwind, Lionwind, Mellowtail, and Stormrage. All the kits are apprentices. xD)


Mellowstar yowled, and they started to stalk toward JointClan, getting ready for the attack.

When Moonshadow heard the yowl, he cocked his head towards Branchthorn unexpectedly. He quickly realized it and returned his head to the former position. "So, uhm, are you ready?" He asked, hiding his embaressment.

((Alright.. I though that Mellowpaw and Stormpaw JUST became apprentices but alrighty.))

Branchthorn followed, looking small as her pelt was plastered to her. She neared JointClan camp with Mellowstar, and a flash of lighting lit up the sky and all below again. She growled lowly, and stalked forward slowly, slowly..

(I dunno. I think. xD)


Wingclaw sniffed. THe strong scent of MellowClan was here. He growled. "Get ready!"

((Nah, its fine. xDD))

Wolf smelled MellowClan, and tensed. He smelled a twinge of JointClan, but it wasn't pure, it stank of MellowClan. He sighed, and crouched down, ready.

Branchthorn, along with countless other MellowClan warriors, burst into the camp, snarling. She attacked the first JointClan scent she smelled, and that happened to be Wolf. She snarled, slashing and clawing.

Wolf had no choice but to fight back, and yowled out in pain when Branchthorn slashed his shoulder, giving him a deep gash.

Moonshadow kept his head down as he followed the rest of the warriors. He thought he heard one make a joke about him and Grasstail, but gave him a stare and that was over with. He thought what worse positions he could be in then letting a super mega awesome powerful cat hostage go and being made fun off by the rest of the clan, he'd rather be controlled by Mellowstar then living the way he does right now.

He didn't even realize he was in the middle of a fight. He brought his head up, confuzzled like a mouse, and tried to survey the area, but everyting was going so fast!

Wingclaw yowled, and bowled into Branchthorn, giving Wolf the chance to attack her. He skidded to a halt infront of Mellowstar. He growled, his ears flattened tail lashing. "We meet again- mother." He said coldly, That's right. He was in Mellowstar's first litter. He barred his fangs. He was going to end her, once and for all.


(Actually, I was thinking that she kills Wingclaw and Fernstar gets so upset sheends Mellowstar-once and for all. Then she dies, maybe by Branchthorn? *hopeful glance* Then Branchthorn notices she just killed her mother. Then. Grasstail becomes leader...yada.)

((Hmm.. You know that means that Fern and Wing are related and they're mates, right? xDD Umm, well, what I was thinking, was that Branch attacks Wingclaw and realizes just before she kills him what she's done and ends the fight. But I dunno.. And you made Wingclaw deputy, so isn't Grasstail a normal warrior now? Either way..))

Wolf slashed at Branchthorn , and she shrieked, dashing away. She was so concentrated on the fight.. And then she slammed into Kira, and started attacking.

(STOP CONFUZZLIN' ME! xD He hasn't told her. She WON'T know either. xD Well, Grasstail was deputy before, and that's just what the clan decides.)

((Alright.. I guess we can go with that plot. Does Branchthorn get exiled or giving one more chance?))

Moonshadow saw Wingclaw barring his fangs at Mellowstar, unable to her his words over all of the fighting. He tried getting closer, hoping maybe, just maybe, he could be of use to her. Oh how wonderful that would be.

Kira, still in the bushes, was listening to the fight in the same position as before, and felt his stomach croaking. He had to decide; die of hunger, or die of bone. Hunger, bone... Bone would be less painful, he guesed, so e sneaked out to find maybe a mouse or two... but was knowcked over by Branchthorn. His eyes widened. there was an akward silence between the two, and Kira quickly said, "Gotta go!" and ran off.

((I'm sorry, I'm just confuzzled, wha we doin'? Are we letting Branch know or not?))

((We're having the battle between Mellow and Joint right now.. So, we'll go with Leaf's plot idea? Wingclaw and Fernstar die and then Grasstail becomes leader? =D ))

Larchstar stretched. Assuming it was morning, she sat up and swiped a dry paw over her ear. It was oddly warm today, even for summer.

(we're in the middle of a battle, and it' storming. xD)

((OH... wasn't paying attention. Cut last post.))

Larchstar instead wanted to take cover under her tree, but new she had to fight for her Clan. Her fur spiked up.

Mellowstar smiled at Wingclaw, her eyes glinting. "Hello, son." She snarled.

((My gosh, Mellow has alot of kikds. xDD))

((I know! but I, uhm, can't reply with Kira without Branch))

Moonshadow was shocked for two reason; 1. Someone out of nowhere jumped on his back, with him struggling to get him off and 2. What Mellowstar just said. "SON?" Moonshadow yelped before being tackled again.

Branchthorn growled, and dashed after Kira, and then jumped in front. She growled again, looking angry. "And we were you going, you mouse brain?" She snapped, with a little of her old self. Ohh.. I don't wanna hurt these cats.. She thought desperately. She pinned him down.

Mellowstar gave a glare to Moonshadow. "SHUT the StarClan up, will you? Geesh." She muttered, and turned back to Wingclaw, smiling in her charming little way,

Kira smirked back at Branchthorn and said, "Finding my life saving kill, my little traitor!"

Moonshadow had to be obedient to her. "Fine, I just thought I had a right to be surprised."

Branchthorn felt the word's cut through her like claws, and she was pretty good at not flinching. She snarled, and stood her ground, in a defensive position. "Weak.." She taunted quietly, and then leaped at him, managing to pin him to the ground. She felt her thoughts arguing with themselves.
Branch, you don't wanna do this!
Yes I do! I have to, I want to be loyal to MellowClan, JointClan treated me like dirt.
Wingclaw was telling the truth you mouth brain!
