☼Plot☼
After Violet Aria Creet Night and Jacob Nathaniel Night passed on, Tara left the awards ceramony in the middle of it, Aaron Night was heartbroken. Tara regrets it every single day she lives. Finally deciding to try and be normal, Tara, appearing to be eighteen, her age she's stuck at for life, goes to high school.
Aaron, now forced to live with his excentric Aunt, and down to Earth Uncle. Goes to High School with them to try and live a normal life, what he doesn't know, is that Tara is the mysterious new student everyone has been talking about.
Taking a turn for the worse, Tara and Aaron meet again. Then, as Tara is running home in the middle of the day, she is kidnapped, and taken back to the place she hoped to never return. The Institute. Now, Aaron must save his Soulmate by himself or risk living a life without her.

Name: Tara Rae Lefevre
Age: Physical * Eighteen; Actual * Sixty-Seven
Description: Tara is a short 5'6 eightteen year old with long dirty brown reddish hair. Her hair cascades down her back and ends right above the small of her back. In the front, she has bangs that sweep across her left eye and hang right above her right eye. Her reddish brown hair is soft, like velvet and it is straight right down to the bottom.
Her skin is a pale-ish white almost transparent, she doesn't get out in the sun much. Her eyebrows are almost permanently raised giving her a very skeptic appearance when she looks at you, if she ever does. Tara's regular eyes are a piercing green that seem to see into your mind. They do, sense she can hear a persons thoughts always, her eyes are always the green, but when she focuses on one person's for a while, he eyes change to match the person's she is reading and haze over slightly. She can loose touch with reality when she is reading thoughts. When Tara is seeing her future, her eyes turn a dark navy and haze over completely like she is day dreaming.
He limbs are longer than most, but her fingers are long and boney with round bitten off finger-nails. Tara's legs are long and skinny.
You can find Tara in her regular clothes almost all the time, no matter what the circumstance. Her normal clothes are dark skinny jeans that are very tight to her tiny body. She likes to wear black converse high tops with long sleeved shirts with black or white camis or tank tops on under the shirts. She wears black and white mostly with intricate designs on the sleeves. She has one favorite shirt that is white with a black swirl running down the side of the arm with dots and swirls mixed in. She likes to wear either black skinny jeans, or she had one white pair of jeans. Tara always has a light black jacket over her clothes to hide her wings.
Tara likes to wear small jewerly that has sentimental meaning to her. She has tiny black and white earrings that are just plain balls that she always wears in her second and third hole. Her first hole has two mismatched earrings, in the left, there is a black and white star with smaller stars dangling down from the bottom, the right is a black square with a white square inside, and so on and so forth. She wears three different things on her neck, one is a tight black chocker with a white star hanging on the front, the second is a white and black locket with black and silver ivy covering it, inside she has a picture of Aaron and her hugging, the third necklace is black and white with a star shaped onyx hanging down at the bottom with a 'T' painted on the front. She wears one charm braclet with silver charms, there are six charms, one is a bird, the second a star, the third is a 'T', the fourth a silver piano, the fifth a silver horse, and the last a white and black heart Aaron gave her before she left.
Tara has wings. They are a large, fourteen-foot wingspan. They are also the same reddish-brown as her hair and have black tips on the end. Her feathers are very soft and straight like her hair too.
Abilities: Tara is a mutant. She was expiramented on at birth, giving her wings, and avian genes. She can see very well and can also hear people's thoughts. She can also see the future. Tara is very fast footed when she runs. She has some undiscovered abilities too.

Tara let her hair fall over the left side of her face. She exhaled slowly and then followed the Principal to her new class. Grimacing as she walked in, Tara frowned as the Principal told her to introduce herself. Tara Rae stepped with a smirk and said in a clear, ringing bells voice, "My name is Tara Rae Lefevre." She stepped back and then her eyes widened as she saw Aaron. Aaron Night. Aaron, the Aaron she left a few years ago. She bit her lip and then gazed at him with knowing eyes. Tara blinked and then used something she hadn't used since she was in Georgia, Aaron. If you can hear me... blink three times and then cough.

Aaron shook his head and then did what the 'voices' inside of his head told him. He blinked three times and then coughed. It was very sad looking. The cough sounded like some cat coughing up a hairball. "Sorry." He whispered as everyone started to glare at him. He flipped open his notebook. Tara's name was written multiple times inside the front page. These were mixed in with the names of his parents. He flipped to the next clean page before anyone noticed the names.

Tara rolled her eyes and trotted over to the seat beside Aaron's. She glared at the person who was in it and they moved immediantly. Grinned softly Tara bit her lip and then whispered, autible for only Aaron's ears, "Hey Aaron Night, Miss me? 'Cause I sure as heck missed you. By the way, I think we should take another trip to Italy... I'm just itching to see the canal again."

Tara? Aaron thought looking over at the girl who had just whispered to him. I missed you... Yeah. How could I not? Living with my Aunt and Uncle. There's nothing else to think about. He thought closing his folder. He shook his head nd then looked forward. This was probably all some illusion that his depressed and love-sick mind was playing on him.

Tara shook her head and muttered, "Aaron... you're not having an illusion, if you don't believe me, then maybe this will jog your memory." She closed her eyes and then muttered, "And what would this pretty girl do to get this handsome boy to kiss her?" She was quoting the night they kissed on the canal in Italy. Her eyes fluttered open and she muttered, "I'm sorry for leaving... I loved you and I still love you now Aaron. I never forgot about you." A tear rolled down her cheek and then her head snapped up, the teacher was talking to her, "I said, Ms. Lefevre, What is the capital of Italy."
"Venice." Tara stated bluntly, looking up.
The Teacher saw her tear and she glared, "Aaron Night, I told you no more talking to the other students. I am sorry for your loss, now shut it."
Tara's jaw dropped and she stood up, her hands clenching and unclenching at her sides. She trembled from the anger and glared at the teacher, "Take it back, Witch."

Aaron looked down at his desk. Tara! He exclaimed after a few moments and nearly tackled her but held back. Calm down. She could give you a life detention. He warned her. "I'm sorry Ma'am. She wanted to know why I looked so depressed." He muttered. I thought you had died also... He thought.

Tara snorted as the Teacher got out a pink slip, "Detention, for a month young lady."
"Have at it hag. See you in Hell, there's a special place for people like you." Tara said the end in mock innocence and concern. Grinning Tara raised her eyebrows and then ran. Her sprints got her to the door in one stride and she flung it open, "Again, Have fun in this Hell hole!" Tara ran down the hall and grinned. Flinging open the school doors. She was running down the sidewalk when a van pulled up beside her and the doors flung open. Tara was pulled inside, but before they shut the doors, she ripped off her locket with the picture of her and Aaron in it and threw it on the ground, praying it would go to his pocket. It worked, the locket dissapeared and landed in Aaron's jeans pocket. Tara was gagged and her jacket was ripped of, Darn. Tara thought, Karma sucks.

Aaron shook his head. "Typical Tara..." He muttered. And the schoolbell rang. 3:30. He got up and rushed out the door. He maneuvered down the hall and then outside. Tara? Aaron thought. Please don't tell me she ran off. Again. He thought walking down the sidewalk. A glint from a shrub startled him. He looked in closer and found a golden locket hanging by it's chain on one of the stiff branches. He pulled it off and flipped open the heart shaped case. He saw a picture of himself next to Tara. "Huh." He slipped it into his pocket.

Tara's gag was removed and someone slapped her cheek, she frowned, "What was that for again?"
The man sneered at her, "For running away, Tara. You were our only expirament."
Tara gulped, "Well, That stinks."
The man grinned, "Now now, It's all okay, you'll be back in your cage soon."
"Cat crate's more like it." Tara muttered, she was slapped again and she glared, "Idiot, back off."
Finally, the man just turned away and Tara shut her eyes, Aaron, You have to hear me... Know that I love you... I'm on my way to THE INSTITUTE.... Hurry, It's in, It's in... She lost consciousness.

Aaron got the message. Tara?! What's the institute? He asked frantically. No answer. "Gosh! Why must my life be in idiotic bits and pieces?" He thought aloud. He pulled the locket back out of his pocket and examined it closely.

Tara woke up a few hours later, she was on a giant lab table. It was very cold, suddenly, she realized she was in her birthday suit. "Crud!" Tara yelled and grabbed a nearby labcoat, it was attached to a hook and she pulled it off. Tara shrugged it on and pulled her hair up into a pony tail. Frowning she blinked and then asked, Aaron? A scientist came in and smiled at her like she was some sort of prize. She smirked back, "What, you enjoy poking me like a slab of meat you perv?" He looked at her appaled and scampered off. Tara's eyes narrowed, she blinked. They felt... different? So did the rest of her body.

Aaron was surfing the internet for any results on 'The Institiute.' Nope. Nothing. When he got the message from Tara. Tara? He asked. Exiting out of the browser window.

Tara smiled softly, Aaron! Oh... Aaron! I'm at the Institute... Er... I think they expiramented on me again... No, Someone's coming! I have to go, I love you! She frowned as a group of Scientist's came in, they looked at her up and down and she scowled, "Please, Boys, I am no piece of meat. I am just as human as you are."
One of them grinned, "Ahh, But that is where your wrong, We've created one like you Tara. He is much more advanced, but we've added to you too. So you are equal. No worries. You'll meet him soon."
Tara growled, "Animals."

"The people that experimented on her!" Aaron growled and stood up. He rushed down the stiars and into the kitchen. Where his Aunt was making dinner.
"What's the matter, Aaron?" Sarah asked.
"Um... I'm just going out for some freah air..." Aaron lied and pushed open the kitchen door. He walked down to the street and crossed it.

Tara frowned, "When am I getting food people? I am hungry."
One of the men frowned, "Come on then, we'll treat you right, for now. I think I'll intruduce you to Blade."

(Yes, I'm stealing him, you snooze you loose, plus, his name is mine. xDD, I'll let you play him though. :D)

Aaron walked down the street and around the corner.

Blade shivered as the metal door to his cage was opened. A growl erupted from his throat as they yanked him out of it by his wrist. "Get off me you idiots!" He hissed through clenched teeth.

Tara watched slowly as they took a boy, her age, out of a cage. Tara frowned, "Now guys, you treat me better than that... you could treat him the same way." She blinked and smiled.
One of the Scientists next to her froze, and she grinned and rolled her eyes lazily, "I really need to get you guys some dates." Tara looked down and realized that she still had the silly lab coat on. "Where are my real clothes, Boys?" One of the Scientist's threw them at her without a question and she smiled at Blade, "This is what you get when you ask for what you want nicely. Now smile, you're going to eat. I'm Tara, I am the one they probably made you after... See, I'm a bird kid too, but sadly, they decided to leae me on a lab table, in the expirament room, without my clothes. Now I have this nasty thing on. Boys, where is the restroom?" A scientist pointed to a door and Tara dashed off and returned a minute later, her hair in a intrcate bun on the top of her head, and her regular clothes on, "That's better."

"Now that's really going to work." Bladde seethed as the scientists led them down a hall. His arm's felt as if they were nearly out of their socket. "Loosen up!" He snapped at one of the scientists. They just pulled harder.

Aaron pounded up the steps to the town library. Just maybe something on The Institute or Half human half bird people.

One of the Scientists just stayed near her, they didn't dare touch her. Suddenly, Tara stopped. "No, We missed the turn. You aren't taking us to the cafiteria. I know where it is. I am not going into the courtyard to fight with Blade. You have to be kidding me."
Three more Scientists grabbed Tara's arms and pushed her into the courtyard, it was like a giant greenhouse. All the comforts of a backyard, with a giant metal dome overhead. Tara grimaced and growled, "Get off me!" She took one of the Scientists and threw him across the room. He hit a wall and gasped. The Scientists let her go and ran to a metal booth across the room. Locking themselves in it, one of them said into a microphone, "Now Fight."
"Darnit." Tara muttered. She looked down at herself and then muttered, "I know why I feel different." She walked over to a tree that they had as a prop and puched straight through the middle. Wood chips flew everywhere and she brought her hand back out, nothing was wrong with it, it didn't even hurt. Tara blinked and then closed her eyes, Aaron... I think I'm invincible... they expiramented on me again and... and... I'm different, I just punched through a tree Aaron! Save me... Please... The Institute is in California... You won't find it on any website or map... Hurry, It's near a grape vineyard on the west coast, near a cliff... Aaron, Please... Save me.

Aaron had just started to look for a book or something among the tall shelfs, when he got the message. California... Grapevine... I'll be there as soon as I can. I promise. He thought lovingly as he ran out of the library and onto the night street.

"We might as well fight, and get this over with. We'll be in a lot more pain if we don't..." Blade said looking over at the one-way window. "You people are disgusting, excuses for man-kind." He growled at the window.

Tara blinked and turned to Blade, "I refuse to fight you. I will not hurt you, you don't deserve it. Now, it would be different if you did something to make me mad." She sat down on the ground in the middle of a giant pile of woodchips. Tara sighed and picked one up, staring at it as she twirled it in her fingers, the woodchip rose from the palm of her hand and she blinked, "Holy Canoli!"

Blade shrugged and climbed up into one of the tree props. If anything; the floor was probably lined with electrical wires.

Aaron shot into the sky when no cars or pedestrians were in sight. The chilling air rushed against his dark hair and pale face.

Tara unfurled her wings and rose into the air, and then, she closed them. Tara blinked, she was floating, actually floating! She grinned and then let herself float over to the tree Blade was in, "Can you do this too? Try!"
