"Can you tell?" Ben laughed his teeth chattering.

Emma smiled peacefully.

Lilliana shrugged, "Violet, would you be so kind as in helping me?"

Violet smiled and Lilliana took Violet's hands. All the sudden a black cloud covered the back in warmth and heat.

Ben gasped at the sudden heat. "Thank. You."

James smiled and then regreatfully let go of Emma.

Lilliana smiled and sat back down beside Ben, sweating mercifully.

Violet shook her head, "It's normal in her for me."

Ben shook his head at Lilliana. "Are you ever at a perfect temperature?"

"Nope." Lilliana said smiling and pulling her hair back.

Ben rolled his eyes as the car stopped next to a condo. He hopped out and waited for his friends to follow.

Lilliana and James hopped out with Violet following already planning a story on how she got in the back.

Gary didn't even come out of the car when they all got out he just went off into the congested streets.

Ben looked around. "I odn't think we will be able to covince Zeus to let me or James on an airplane."

Lilliana bit her lip, "Hmm, Violet's way is too dark... Emma?"

"I got nothing." Emma said plainly.


"I guess we'll have to travel the old fashioned way." Ben said remembering the summer before.

"Fun..." Lilliana mumbled.

"Yeah..." Ben said unenthusiatically. "Maybe we can hitchhike a nice home living room set moving truck."

Lilli smiled and then Violet said, "We go my way."

"No." Ben demanded.

Violet sighed, "Fine, meet you In Vegas. Lilli, you coming?" Lilliana shook her head, "No way."

Ben stayed quiet and looked around his surroundings.

Violet sunk into the groud like water and dissapeared.

Lilliana grimaced her stomach flipping and tying itself into knots.

James shook his head, he had no ideas.

"You guys could have gone. I just don't trust her." Ben said staring at the spot where Violet had dissappeared.

Lilliana shook her head, "No, If her Dad catches me down there, I'll be dead, permanitly."

James grimaced, "No way. I'm staying to protect Emma and my own well being."

Emma smiled and leaned up against his shoulder.

Ben nodded "Well, We better get going..."

Lilliana grimaced and then started to walk along the sidewalk.

James smiled and curled an arm around her waist.

"We might be able to get a train to Ohio..." Ben said pulling a hundred dollar bill out of his back pocket.

Lilliana shook her head, "Nah, we might need that money later, We could go with the whirl wind?"

"That feels so unnatural though." Ben said stubbornly.
